Bettei Taniguchi is a private, 100-year-old, historic Japanese-style building located in the centre of Takayama. It is about a 20-minute walk from Takayama Station, a 2-minute walk to a 24-hour convenience store, and a 4-minute walk to a supermarket, making it a convenient location for both sightseeing and accommodation, despite being in a quiet residential area. On the ground floor, there is a spacious living, dining and kitchen area covering approximately 39 square metres (23 tatami mats).Beyond the large windows is a full-fledged Japanese garden, where you can relax to your heart's content while enjoying the seasonal views. There is a cypress sauna and a ceramic open-air bath in the garden.You can enjoy a special time as if you were in the forest.Fully equipped with 2 bedrooms, 2 toilets, 2 washbasins, and a bathroom (shower and bathtub). The first floor also has two bedrooms, one toilet, one washbasin area and a small fridge, so it can be used comfortably by groups. Free parking is available for up to six standard-sized vehicles. Parking is also available if you are coming by minibus. Up to 10 guests can stay in comfort.
