Living/Dining area and bedroom/vanity area enclosed with open area at roofline where a large ficus tree limb goes through. Outdoor shower/ wc area. Very Private. Daily pricing includes Hawaili State taxes, 10.25% TAT and 4.25% GE .

It was nice having a full kitchen. There was nice coffee, yay! The outdoor bathroom was super cool. When we arrived, Karen walked us out to the ocean which I thought was extremely kind! Ron brought us a yummy mango from a neighbor in the morning and it was fun talking with him about his travels and the pieces in the house. There is a fun lil snorkeling spot over one street which Ron pointed out. Super fun. Cabin is close to 2 steps. Great location. Feels like you’re away from it all but also not tooo far from town/food. Purry is a cute black kitty. We did get followed around a bit by mosquitos when outside in the kitchen, but that’s Hawai’i! Bring bug spray and you’ll be fine. The fans in the house keep them away super well. Overall it was a magical air bnb stay! I love when places are unique like this. Mahalo for a truly memorable experience!”
Our Retreat is a labor of our love and was built as such. A getaway to relax, hike the nearby beaches, forests, and volcanoes and to simply enjoy life. Our place is a peaceful spot completely off the grid in nature. It is 8 miles to Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park. You’ll love our place because of the location, the ambiance, and the outdoor space. Our goal was to bring the outdoors in and the indoors outside. Our place is good for couples and solo adventurers.

Definitely the place to stay if you’re looking for a place that’s quiet, serene, and unique (being tucked away in the rainforest...very neat!). Brittany and Michael were great hosts that responded quickly and provided lots of helpful information prior to checking in. They have a book with recommendations and places to see or try that we found to be very helpful as we navigated the Big Island. We spent a lot of time out and about during the day and coming back here in the evening was so relaxing and peaceful. Highly recommend this place to anyone spending time on the island!”
