Our yurt camp located on the shores of a mountain lake Issyk-Kul. Near the village Bokonbaev. From the village Bokonbaev direction Karakol before the village Ton there is a turn to the left. If you go little further, you will see our sign "ALMALUU"
“My husband and I really enjoyed staying at the Yurts. They are very comfortable and have lots of space. The food was wonderful, always fresh and local things to try. I enjoyed particularly that there was hot water for the shower as I hate cold shower water. But with the solar panels water was nice and wonderful. I highly recommend visiting the Fairytale Canyon in the area, it's a spectacular must-see. We hitchhiked to get there and that worked out well, even though both drivers did not speak a word of English. The host family made every effort they could to help us. Picked us up from the Airport in Bishkek and then drove us afterwards to the border of Kasachstan and even helped us getting over the border without any issues.”
We invite you to live in a yurt - traditional dwelling of the nomads. Very basic, but cozy and clean. Breakfast included. Hot water is available, western style toilettes. Bel Tam - place for relaxation and escape from civilization.
“Was recommended Bel Tam by a number of colleagues who know it, and it didn't disappoint. We visited out of season (late October), but still had a lovely night in a traditional yurt right by the Lake. Our yurt was warm and cosy and Aijamal provided the most amazing dinner and breakfast for us, in traditional Kyrgyz style. The scenery around the yurt camp is stunning and we hope to be back again. Maybe when it's a bit warmer so we can make the most of the activities on site too!”
My home is located in a small village called Orgochor, near popular attractions such as Karakol, Jeti Oguz, and Marco Polo. From my home, you can see beautiful snow-capped mountains. Wifi, new indoor bathroom and toilet, and breakfast are included.
“It was a home full of affection! Kayyr and all members of the family are the best people to stay with in Kyrgyzstan (Issky Kul/Karakol area). They will offer you everything you need (even more than what you need) during your whole stay. The room is big enough to relax and is definitely valuable with its price. The food prepared by Kayyr are beyond any one's expectations - true taste of Kyrgyzstan! :) Will certainly recommend her place to everyone who is planning to travel in Issky Kul as it is conveniently located in Karakol (30 minute-drive away) and to Kyzyl Suu (around 10-minute drive away). The house is also in the village where shops are just stones away and where mini buses and taxis stop. Kayyr's home is perfect for any kind of travelers from solo, couple, friends or family. :)”
