Great location!! It was well maintained, very peaceful, and a short drive to downtown Clayton. We would definitely stay here again.

The cottage is very clean and spacious and worked very well for my husband and I, and a friend. It is in a lovely location. There are pots and pans, and a good supply of dishes. There are no condiments or anything like that, just FYI. Do remember to bring your own towels, although Carol really helped us when we didn't have any.

Enjoyed our stay. Plan to return again and arrive earlier to enjoy more of the amenities. The host was very responsive and proactive. We had 4 adults and 4 children in our group and had plenty of room for everyone.

The house is spacious and clean. Plenty of room to spread out. Our family came to see the eclipse and were amazed by the views from the house, of the river, the islands and Boldt Castle. Sunsets were incredible. 4 of the 7 bedrooms have their own baths attached. The beds are firm and linens new and clean. The 4 seater hot tub was clean and ready to go. The house is surrounded on the non river sides by a hotel and marina, but the place is oriented to the river. Once in the house or on one of the multiple decks you wouldn’t know. The hotel next door provided us with any help we needed. There is a kind of charm to how dated the place is. The kitchen is big enough for many cooks and we had fun making meals. That said, we were warned by previous reviews about the two old ranges. They were right. Two of the burners didn’t work and one oven wouldn’t come up to temperature. All in though we had a great time. If we come back to Alex Bay with a big group we will stay here again.

Such a fabulous place to stay. The property is amazing and every cottage has all the amenities of home!

The house is beautiful and clean; very open and not cluttered. We would stay again. The house was well stocked with the things needed. The only draw back we had was it is close to the highway; the noise and traffic was a little much for us. Other than that it was a great time had for me and my family. We were about 30 minutes out for the venue we went for. The host was kind and responded quickly to my messages.

This is our second time at this Airbnb. It’s in a wonderful location, so close to downtown. The house is clean and spacious, and you can’t beat having 2.5 bathrooms.

Jamie’s place was easy to find, the check in process was smooth. The space was extremely clean. Even though it had just snowed a ton the driveway was plowed and walkway shoveled. Would recommend anyone to stay here. Great find!

This rental is in a convenient location, close to Watertown's downtown and shopping. The residential street is busy as it is used to bypass a long traffic light. The place was recently remodeled and very clean and up-to-date. Vince even provided milk, eggs, pancake mix, bread, coffee and condiments. There is off-street parking. Overall, we enjoyed staying there.

From the very beginning, Tim was extremely attentive and answered all of my questions immediately. I knew what to expect as soon as I walked in. The house fit 2 families and 2 large lazy dogs without feeling cramped. Having water access was amazing, the kids fished all day while the parents enjoyed time on the patio. The kids were able to take kayaks out to fish as well. The water grass made it a little difficult to keep an eye on the kids from the patio area, but not enough to be a problem. The water is very shallow but we were able to park our rented boat (Mac's Boat Rental-super awesome to the kids) without a problem. This house is exactly what we were looking for; private, waterfront and allowed dogs heavier that 20lbs-which is difficult to find. This house was a gem and we will gladly rent again! Thanks Tim!

June & Mark are fantastic hosts! They are very proactive and communicative making each step very easy. Their home is lovely and comfortable, and it was impeccably clean! The multiple bedrooms all with comfortable beds made this perfect for our group of 6. I highly recommend their Airbnb for your travels. You will not be disappointed. We will definitely be back!

Was a great place to stay. Very comfortable and homey and clean inside with very nice river view. Shawn was very pleasant and helpful. Would recommend for anyone who likes staying on the river. Was too early in the season to go out on the kayaks but would definitely go back later on in the season.

Laurel was an amazing host! The place was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. She was incredibly responsive throughout our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. Her thoughtfulness really stood out—she even offered us a late checkout, which we truly appreciated. The peaceful surroundings and little touches made it feel like a home away from home. Highly recommend staying here—we’d definitely love to come back!

If you're about to visit Dexter , NY and near by towns, this is the only and the best place to stay . Located on the Black River side you have the unique opportunity to enjoy extremely beautiful view without leaving the house . Moreover , we are frequent Airbnb users , and this house is outstanding and gets only the highest scores . Spacious , comfortable and with all the stuff you need is there . Even if you're some kind of capricious person , Susie and Dean , owners of the property , are always happy to hear something from you and make your stay much more comfortable than you've expected. Sometimes you see pictures of property , and when you arrive , such a feeling , that you booked something different . It's not about that property , it's much more nice and comfortable in real than it seems on the picture . I do strongly recommend that pleasant place to stay . It was an unbelievable experience staying there. Would come back there definitely

Christina's cottage was a great place to relax and unwind with my friends. Seriously, we didn't want to leave. The house is clean, uncluttered, and perfectly decorated. The fully stocked kitchen and comfortable living room made our stay extra enjoyable. Christina has thought of everything that a traveler may need... snacks, games, toiletries, beach towels.. you name it. The back deck gave us a front row seat for the sunset, so nice! She was very responsive to anything we needed. Great house, great host. Thank you.

Stayed here for a weekend trip with my husband and our pup. This place is beautiful right on the lake and has literally everything you’d ever need! Very open and cute, the king size bed was to die for. We had a rainy weekend but I enjoyed reading by the fireplaces and did enjoy the back deck on one night. Not far from anything you might need otherwise! We’d love to stay again!

Second time we have stayed here. Both were fantastic! Beautiful home, plenty of space, calm and relaxing setting.

My family and I had a comfortable stay at the cottage. There was more than enough space for the 7 off us. My toddler enjoyed playing in the sunroom. The location was quiet, yet very close to Clayton and Alex Bay. I would stay here again on a trip to the Thousand Islands.
