Holiday rentals in Jefferson Davis County

What a serene location and well appointed cabin! My little family enjoyed every bit of the property and cabin. My 2 year old tromped the yard, played in the fort, dug in the sand, constructed with the toy trucks provided, and enjoyed the play kitchen in addition to exploring the loft upstairs. There were so many places and spaces to relax and take in God’s creation. We will definitely be back!

What a peaceful property!! The place was spotless and cozy, they left the gate open and porch light on for us as we were coming in late and just staying for a quick night. We woke up to the beautiful property and were so thankful to have the peace of the trees and the pond rather than the noise of a hotel. I wish we had had time to stay longer. I would note that you have to pass through one of the bedrooms to get to the second bedroom, in case that matters to you for privacy reasons. For our needs it worked just fine! They use hypoallergenic laundry detergent which is huge for me and for lots of people with health issues. I greatly appreciated that as an extra safety feature!! Thank you!

We had a lovely stay here. The house was charming and spacious. We like to cook meals and the kitchen was spacious with everything we needed. The location was great and the neighborhood quiet. Gilbert's instructions were clear and detailed; it was easy to get in and out of the house. And there was virtually nothing he asked us to do at the end of our stay; at some AirBnb's it's like they give you a honey-do list.

The place was really nice and the hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The area is nice and my friend and I felt comfortable and welcome.

The house is beautiful, inside kept very well, love the older furniture and the pool table at the entrance, bathrooms spotless, kitchen well equipped, lots of couches to rest, the outside windmill was an unusual sound when it was windy, but you could not hear it from the main bedroom, there were 2 large black super friendly dogs to welcome us the first day. Be careful if you have a low rider vehicle when you back up from the carport, the “lip” is tricky, only for low cars. Absolutely peaceful area, no traffic. It was a good stay. Thank you Melanie 😊

We had the most wonderful time at Marvin and Linda’s farm. They are such generous and thoughtful people and their farm reflects that. We brought our 4 children for 3 nights and we took advantage of everything they had to offer. We met Marvin every morning at 7:30 to feed the animals and check the herd (my kids favorite part), we swam in the pool, played at the sandbar, “hung out” with the goats, paddled in the pond and used the gorgeous farm as our personal playground. Linda was thoughtful enough to host an Easter egg hunt as well. Our condo was beautiful, clean, well appointed and Marvin and Linda went above and beyond to make our stay so nice, which I can tell is what they do for all their guests. Already planning our next visit, can’t recommend it enough!

Rebecca was very friendly and helpful. The house was clean, which is a big plus for me! I will definitely be staying there again if I’m ever back in the area!

The house met our needs and was within walking distance to the USM Football Stadium!
