Pet-friendly holiday rentals in John H. Kerr Reservoir

This was a perfect place for me and my 2 kitties in Durham for two months. Kay was responsive when we had some wifi troubles, and otherwide let us be (which works great for me). Plenty of room, well stocked, decent desk for my workspace, two comfy beds, nice yard. It's not a great neighborhood, but the immediate space around the house, the block we were on, was perfectly save. Adorable home, obviously a place where people have lived.

Everything inside the home was great! The steps to get upstairs were a little steep but we managed. Everyone loved listening to the frogs at night and watching water birds during the day.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Jeanette’s Airbnb, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! The location was ideal, nestled in a quiet neighborhood yet conveniently close to local attractions and restaurants. The space itself was beautifully decorated, clean, and had all the amenities you could ask for. The comfortable bed ensured restful nights, and the well-equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals. I especially loved the cozy living area, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Jeanette was a fantastic host, providing clear communication and helpful tips about the area. They went above and beyond to make sure my stay was enjoyable, which I truly appreciated. I highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. I can’t wait to return!

This home was quirky and tranquil with incredible windows looking out on the surrounding woods. It's worth noting that it is not close to restaurants or grocery stores--be prepared to drive 10 minutes for gas or food. If you're looking for a peaceful stay, the house is perfect. We visited with our 3-year-old and were grateful for a small selection of children's toys and books.

I stayed for 3 months during the summer, and Inna has been the best host I've had. She is promptly communicative, proactive, and always exceeds expectations whenever inevitable problems arise. Definitely made my stay worthwhile for me and my roomates. The place is as beautiful as the pictures suggest. I love the fact that I can just go for a walk to destress on the Tabacco Trail that's less than half a mile away. Good vibes 😌

We loved this house! The host, Cass was responsive and made sure we were taken care of. The house had lots of amenities and everything you might need. Would highly recommend this place!

This place was charming and the perfect little spot for a quick trip to UNC. The house was spotless, very cozy, and I appreciated the private driveway.

My wife and I stayed here with our two American Akitas for my college reunion. It was exactly what we were hoping for: a very nice, clean, and updated home with a very large (bigger than expected from the photos) and completely fenced-in yard for our dogs. Our dogs seemed so comfortable and at home in this house, and we loved watching them enjoy the yard from the raised deck above. Check-in, check-out, and other communications all went smoothly!

The home was comfortable and very clean. Beds were comfy . It was a very quiet neighborhood. Would stay again !

Clean space with comfortable beds and Amanda was quick to respond. It's located in a quiet neighborhood between Raleigh and Cary with a short drive to restaurants, parks, and downtown.

We had a lovely time here! The house is so charming, with a beautiful garden, in a lovely, quiet area, and within walking distance of downtown. The hosts are very responsive and flexible. Wish we got a chance to pet the dogs ;) Can’t recommend it enough.

I’ve stayed in the apartment 4 times in the last 9 months I think and I’d highly recommend it to anybody. The gym within west village is fantastic and it’s so easy to walk to great places and also to go for a run. I love staying there and hope to be back again soon!

Laura‘s place was clean and quiet and it was exactly as listed. There was easy access to the basement and plenty of room. The bed was really comfortable and the amenities were in place. She communicated very well and timely to any requests. She went out of her way to make sure that I was comfortable and was available if I needed anything. I would definitely recommend it for an overnight stay in the Wake Forest area.

One of the things I enjoyed most from staying here was, they had stocked plates, cups, utensils, pots, pans, and garbage bags! I’ve stayed at places where we need to buy everything and this was definitely a plus. Also, they have a spice cabinet! Salt, pepper, sugar, oil to cook with all off your list! They were very attentive and took care of my boys fear with wasp! I would definitely stay there again!

We were so comfortable in the mid-century modern house. The neighborhood was just that...a neighborhood. And our Lucky Dog absolutely love the backyard freedom. We will certainly be back.

David’s place is beautiful! It’s surrounded by mature trees in a lovely little neighborhood with lots of stores and parks located nearby. David was a very responsive and personable host. Definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay here! The home is very clean, simple, cozy, and comfortable. It had some very thoughtful touches and amenities- hair dryer, shampoo and conditioner, a box fan (which my husband was ecstatic to find- he can’t sleep without a fan for white noise), dog food and water bowls, etc. Our pup really enjoyed the fenced in back yard. And we enjoyed sitting on the back deck in the evening. The neighborhood is very quiet and beautiful, and close to NCState. The owners were very accommodating and responsive. We will definitely look for this listing again for a future trip to Raleigh!

Cathy’s place was extremely casual and well lived in. We felt right at home. I love that you could spread out. Everything was clean. I love the bonus of the back deck where we could sit and have happy hour every night. Thanks so much.

The Byrds Nest was a perfect accommodation to fit our needs for a weekend in Rocky Mount! Byrd was so easy and flexible to coordinate with. Little touches in the Airbnb were so thoughtful. I can’t think of much of anything she could do to improve the experience or the house. It is clear Byrd cares about her guests and knows what they are looking for in a place to stay

This was our third time staying at the cottage and it was just as wonderful as always. Clean, welcoming, and full of amenities (excellent linens and towels, coffee and tea, snacks, books), we always feel so at home and so comfortable here, it’s difficult to leave.

Sarah knows hospitality. The home was larger than I thought so there was plenty of space to check out. Things done exceptionally well: clean white towels (always a winner yet many hosts don't know this); Black makeup towels so you don't ruin the nice white towels - that was clutch; clean white bed sheets; little bathroom amenities in case you need something; CLEAN screened in porch deck (no cobwebs); uncluttered kitchen with everything we needed to make our Thanksgiving feast; large, seemingly commercial refrigerator that both my friend and I want for our own kitchens now; and lots of broadband fast wifi. Even the laundry room was neat and tidy, and with a 3rd toilet just in case... my doggy loved lounging (I bring her bed wherever we go, never allow her on human furniture) and she was comfortable in every room that held her bed.. She felt right at home which was nice. We're coming back when it's warm so we can put some floats out in the water. Great peaceful, and restful location!!!
