Proximity to the lake and mountains. The apartment is located right next to the snowmobile trail with good parking facilities for cars with trailers. The snowmobile trail from Alteidet is connected to the trail in Langfjord and from there you have the whole Finnmark in front of you. Many hiking opportunities with the famous starting point Laslettind which is very popular for top tours. Burfjord is the nearest town, about 10 min. drive from Alteidet. Local store in Langfjord, approx. 6 minutes drive from Alteidet. The apartment is 1 hour drive from Alta and 4 hours from Tromsø.

Host can assist with transportation by snow scooter for an additional price. Great hiking opportunities all year long. House refurbished in 2024 with a new kitchen and plenty of beds. Private outdoor room on the second floor where you can enjoy the spectacular view of the sea and mountains. If you're lucky, both killer whales and whales will appear right outside. Welcome to Sørstraumen View which is located near E6, but still secluded. The cabin is located near the sea, with lovely views in all directions, including Storstraumen, which is a very good fishing spot. The area around the cabin is open and a good starting point for walking, hunting and fishing. There is a road all the way up to the cabin with parking. There is also a small grocery store nearby, where you can buy most of what you need. The cabin is cozy, with three small bedrooms and five beds.

Its only fifteen minuts by car to Skjervøy where you can go on a whale- and orcas safari. Big mountain for hiking and skiing around. Driveable to the front door.
