Private double bed- Alweibdeh Vintage Guest House

Mustafa was such a great host for even the few days I was there - ideal location for everywhere in Jordan, outside of downtown, great restaurants all walkable, close to Abdali mall and the National Art Museum. The Guest House was great the building is rented out hotel apartment style, with your own room and communal areas. it was a hive for internationals and a great environment to stay in. Highly recommend for a long or short term stays (plus the view from the roof is AMAZING)

Panorama Guest House - Petra Backdoor Entrance

MadelineRating, 5 stars7 months ago
This is a good launch pad for more adventurous travelers to explore Petra and learn more about Bedouin culture. Abdallah is a very responsive host and a Petra guide himself, so he had many helpful suggestions for our group. This is perhaps best described as a family stay, as you will have your own room on the upper floor but frequently meet members of his family who live on the ground floor beneath the unit, who were all very kind and welcoming. At the time of our stay, it was possible to arrange breakfast or dinner prepared by Abdallah's mother for an additional fee, but note there is no kitchen on the upper floor for making/storing your own meals. Also note that the neighborhood is home to many animals, so I recommend that lighter sleepers bring earplugs, etc.
