From the living room, you have a wonderful view of the river, and on a starry night, you might see the Northern Lights from the living room or the terrace outside. In summer, you can enjoy the midnight sun and watch the river sweep by just 10 meters from the terrace. Nature is just around the corner, so put on your hiking boots and head out for beautiful walks. Welcome home to our farm. We offer a cottage from the 1970s on our property. The main house is right next door, where we live with our 3 children and 4 dogs and 3 rabbits. We have small children and many projects going on ❤ Also outdoor people who spend most of their time hunting, fishing, with dogs and in the forest. If you are interested in that, you have come to the right place. We live 10 km from Kiruna city center and 3 km from the ice hotel in Jukkasjärvi.

Northern Lights Apartment for Independent Stay

Our apartment is in a unique location, perfect for the Northern Lights. We are located 500m from the Ice Hotel and 200m from the grocery store. The accommodation is suitable for guests who want to live independently. No hotel services are offered - no breakfast, no reception and no cleaning during the current stay. Final cleaning is done between different guests. This is a private apartment rental and not a hotel or bed and breakfast.

This accommodation is located right next to the Torne River. It is about 6 minutes drive to the Ice Hotel and about 15 minutes into Kiruna. Aurora Hut is located in a forest area near the river banks of the river, overlooking Torneälven and Jukkasjärvi. A barbecue area is very close. There is also a wood-fired sauna by the beach. Your host is Arne Bergh, artist, designer and former Creative Director at Icehotel for 20 years.
