Cottage and outdoor sauna

A small, charming cottage and a yard sauna in the beautiful landscape of the Tornionjoki river. The cottage has a toilet, a well-equipped kitchen, a fridge, a freezer, a stove and a microwave. Two fold-out sofa beds. In the courtyard sauna, you can take atmospheric saunas and plunge into the Tornionjoki River, or in winter you can cool off by rolling in the snow. The bathing water is heated in the sauna pot. The nearby main building also has a sauna and shower, which are freely available. In winter, you can see the northern lights from the cottage yard.

Villa Väylän Helmi is located in the municipality of Ylitornio, in Marjosaari, Kaulinranta village. The island is a peaceful rural setting, with mostly holiday homes. Located along the Tornionjoki River, the cottage is the choice of fishermen and holidaymakers who love the river landscape. Marjosaari is a great place to watch and photograph the Northern Lights. There are several attractions nearby and the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities. You can also easily visit Sweden, which can be reached via the Aavasaksa bridge.

After the sauna, jump from the sandy beach into the fresh water of the Kemijoki River. On the beach, there is another sauna and a hot tub, which can be rented separately in the summer, as well as a gazebo, a barbecue area and a rowboat. There is a big lake close to the cottage, pineforest and cross country skiing & hiking possibilities. The house is well equipped and modern. This is a good holiday house for families with children. A cozy little cottage with basic amenities where you will definitely enjoy yourself, located in a quiet small village community. The cottage has a wood-burning fireplace. We always heat the fireplace before your arrival and help with heating if you wish during your stay. The bedroom has beds for two and the living room has a double sofa bed. The kitchenette has all the basic supplies.
