Plus wonderful orchards to visit for a calvados tasting.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Happy Valley is situated in the heart of the Normandy countryside at the end of a no-through road so no noisy passing traffic! It shares the site with our main home and 2 other gites. We're about 45 minutes from Mont St Michel; an hour from Bayeaux, Caen, Mayenne and Fougeres. It's another half an hour to the famous D-Day beaches. There are plenty of places to visit and things to do and of course lots of French markets and vide-greniers!

Gîte Four à Pain

Relax, at this carefully renovated old farm boulangerie, surrounded by Normandie countryside. Visit the waterfalls at Mortain, Hill 314 and the petit chapel celebrating 80 years of liberation in 2024. Close to the Parc National, Domfront, Villedieu les poêles and Avranches Easy access to Mont Saint Michel, Jullouville and Granville all under one hour. Ferry ports at Saint Malo and Caen 90 minutes, Cherbourg 2 hours. Pit stop, short break or longer stay, comme tu veux.

My secluded cottage lies in the countryside of Normandy on a completely private terrain of, 8000m2 with an own driveway. The remote house sits alone in the hills with no neighbors and has a garden with cherry, apple and walnut trees. Explore the lush green grasslands and charming French hamlets right from the driveway. The house is within easy reach of the Normandy beaches, national parks, castles and medieval cities. A basic retreat for lovers of nature and peace.

Autonomous waterfront retreat

Come and unwind in this unique cabin located in the heart of the Normandy countryside. The 55m2 cabin comprises 2 bedrooms, 1 living room/kitchen, and a bathroom. Constructed from durable and recycled materials, this refuge has been designed to accommodate you for a peaceful stay in a green setting. However, please be aware that the site is not connected to water and electricity networks, so you will need to be mindful of your energy consumption during your stay.

We are halfway between Mont St Michel and the landing beaches. There are many activities available on site. Take a moment to relax in a fully renovated Western-style decor. In direct contact with animals: horses, goats, chickens, geese, ducks, pigs, dogs, etc.

La ch'tite vallée gîte

In the heart of Lower Normandy, the cottage La Ch'tite Vallée awaits you at the exit of the village. Close to shops: Juvigny-le-Tertre, Saint-Hilaire-du-Harcouet, Avranches, Vire. Close to tourist centers: Mortain waterfalls, Voie Verte, Jullouville beach, museums, Châteaux, Mont Saint Michel. The house has its own entrance and an adjoining 50 m2 garden. You can meet the goats, ponies, chickens, cows and cats of the house.

Forget your worries at this spacious, serene space. The Normandy countryside welcomes you to the Gîte de Catherine for a pleasant stay. Well equipped with a sunny outdoor area. Cycling friends, a lockable bike room with the option of a washing machine is available at no extra cost. Breakfast or a Table d'hôtes can be booked for an additional fee, to be enjoyed inside or outside.
