Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Kagoshima

We really enjoyed our stay here, we were two families and the common space was great + the host was super helpful with recommendations and helping us throughout our stay.

Owner was very nice. Reply was quick. Accomodation was clean and as described. You can enjoy the grass and the sea. A highlight is that there are beach bench, umbrella and life jackets which made your time at the beach more convenient.

This is an amazing house directly on the beach. It was by far the best rental of our entire Japan trip. As a matter of fact, it was the best Airbnb rental we have had over the past years. Everything was there with clear instructions. It was much better than the pictures. Ideal for our family of 6 from the Netherlands. Highly recommended! It is only a few steps to an unspoiled sand beach, surrounded by a beautiful rocky landscape. It’s a short 10 minute drive to an excellent Onsen, and within an hour there are many things to do and see (for example, the Samurai Armor factory, Samurai residences, a Satsuma pottery village, Japanese gardens, etc.) as well as some great restaurants and stores. We definitely will be back as soon as we have the opportunity. Thank you so much Michiyo for your fantastic service!

Mike's house is consistently built and decorated in Japanese style, wonderfully quiet location, sea view, terrace, plenty of space and equipped with everything you need to feel comfortable, cook, relax. We stayed there for 4 nights and felt super comfortable. However, it is advisable to have a rental car to be flexible on the island; Mike also supported us there with the rental, everything worked out great. Were our most relaxing days in Japan here!

Yes, it’s right on the beach. And yes it feels very private as there are only two small hotels around on other sides of the beach. Most busy there were something like 20 people on the whole beach. Nice! The beach is sand with small pebbled and dead coral. So it’s not just a sandy beach like some othear beaches at Amami, even ones very close by car. This was not an issue for us. Snorkelling is great and also easy even for smaller kids as there are no waves and some coral is really very close. We managed even with our youngest 4,5year old kid. House is nice, AC working very good if needed. Nothing to complain about. Communication with the host ok. Snorkelling gear we had some and we rented some at Isola blue cafe 3min by car. There is a parking space for 1 car. Would be happy to stay again. Lots of crabs around the beach and the house.
