The location is a 4-minute walk from the west exit of Kagoshima Chuo Station, the transportation center of Kagoshima City. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, there are many restaurants, convenience stores, drug stores, supermarkets, and car rental stores within walking distance. The airport is about 40 minutes by shuttle bus from the Kagoshima Chuo Station bus terminal. From Kagoshima Chuo Station, it is about 10 minutes by tram to the Planetarium, about 20 minutes by bus to the Sakurajima Ferry Terminal, and about 50 minutes by JR Express to Ibusuki Station and Kirishima Shrine Station, making it a very convenient location. The inn has a dining room, living room, bathroom, and 3 Japanese-style bedrooms (2 single, 1 semi-double, 2 double). Holiday House Nagata is located in the western part of Yakushima Island, close to Inaka beach, the best sea turtle spawning beach in Japan, and you can walk to Maehama beach from home.The sunset view from the beach is beautiful, and there are Yokogawa Gorge, Yakushima Lighthouse, and Seibu Forest Road nearby.Since it is far from the trailhead, it is highly recommended to rent a car.If you only come to Jomon Cedar climbing, Nagata is far away, so please look at the map to consider it.The May-July 2021 Sea Turtle Watch was canceled due to COVID-19.Please note that you will not be able to get off the beach after 8pm.If you go to the beach at 5:00 in the morning, it is recommended because it is possible to meet sea turtles.
