Holiday rentals in Kankakee River

This is a comfortable older home in a working class, safe-feeling neighborhood. The property is conveniently located and everything inside worked well. We would choose to stay there again.

I have been renting Airbnb for years and hands down John’s house was the best house I have ever stayed at. The beds were incredible ( please tell me where you got your pillows and bedding). There was lovely screened porch and great room. Every amenity was available. It was a very special weekend and we had a front row view of many deer in the area. Thank you for being such a great host. We will be back !

An amazing place for a weekend get away with friends. Rodger was a great host, always on top of things and answering questions that we had, and going above and beyond to make sure our stay was amazing! The pictures do not do this place justice!

I will call it "Mary Poppins", practically perfect in every way. If you are looking for a quite scenic vacation spot, this is it. Their are obviously things that could have been better, but we got exactly what we wanted, no notes, no issues, no problems.

We had the best weekend! Everything at the house was just as described or even better. I would, without hesitation, stay here again.

We had an AMAZING time at Marlowe’s Haven! We could not recommend this Airbnb enough. The hosts were so helpful and kind. The home was so clean and lovely. We loved that they had bikes and a hot tub, it made our stay so fun!! They had a book with local recommendations so we always knew where to go for dinner. We had so much fun! This is the third time my friend and I have stayed at Debbie and Jeff's condo for a long weekend. We love the location - it is so easy to walk to coffee, food, shops, or by the water. The condo itself is super nice, clean, and comfortable. We will be back again!

I brought my four kids age 2-16 for some special time at the lake, dunes, and St Joseph. We really enjoyed the home, it was very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated… comfy beds, well stocked but not cluttered kitchen, and my little ones absolutely loved the children’s bedroom. The private beach is an easy walk and it’s beautiful. Kristi had great recommendations and is the most gracious and hospitable host.

We had an amazing stay. The area is beautiful and Nick is prompt in responding. We had no issues during our stay. If you stay the there definitely try all the local places he’s recommends for drinks/dine and won’t be disappointed. I must add that unlike some Airbnb where they ask the guests to do a whole host of things, this place had very few and reasonable rules that we were happy to comply with.
