Bushmans River Roost Cottage

In a 2 hectare garden of the River Roost B&B property we offer a self-catering cottage by the Bushmans River. With 2 en-suite bedrooms and a living area with a pull-out sofa the cottage can accommodate 6 guests. Open your sliding doors and fully experience the African nature that surrounds you while you enjoy the views of the river and the ocean. Down by the river there is a private jetty if you would like to moor your boat or fish. You could also try pottery. We give lessons.

Natures Cottage with its breathtaking views is situated on the waters edge of the Bushmans River in an echo estate called Natures Landing. The cottage is totally private and fully secure. From the deck and bedroom you have unsurpassed views of the river as confirmed by numerous reviews. Impala, rooi hartebees, bush buck and nyala freely roam the estate. Over 200 bird species have been identified in the estate. The facility offers a full range of DSTV channels and unlimited Wifi.

This newly built home offers a family base for sun-filled days and sandy-toed memories. Within walking distance of the beaches and river, and close to the village shops. The pool courtyard and covered patio offer seclusion and privacy on the days when you want to stay in rather than enjoy the unspoiled beaches. A perfect family getaway cottage to relax and recharge body and soul. The neighbourhood is generally very peaceful and the beautiful trees surrounding the property attracts awesome bird life, including the red-bill hornbill and Knysna Turaso (Loerie). The braai area is available for you to use and 1 bag of wood will be supplied. A few games are provided and "boogie" boards are available should anyone wish to use them in the waves.

Stand alone, self-catering cottage for two in a quiet area, short stroll to the beach/lagoon, shops and restaurants. Off street parking, fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi (Fibre connection) and smart tv. Inverter and water tanks to assist with load shedding. Our housekeeper is available at an additional cost per day. Please do not hire strangers for security reasons. Please note no daily service or laundry facilities.
