This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. The train station (JR Saga Arashiyama Sta. 5min walk away) is from there it's 12-17 minutes to JR Kyoto Station. Arashiyama is with its beautiful scenery, the Hozu and Ooi Rivers with its romantic 'Moon-Crossing Bridge Togetsukyo,' the bamboo grove, etc...

Our inn was apparently built in the early Showa period.
