The Bassari Cabin

Welcome to Ibel, my village, in the heart of Pays Bassari. You will stay in a small traditional hut, surrounded by nature, roosters and children playing. The common areas are also those of my family: we eat together, we chat, and if you feel like it, you can participate in the life of the village. Besides being your host, I'm also a local guide. I know the region well and can take you to see villages lost among mountains, ancient baobabs and roads that do not appear on the maps.

Authenticity and nature within a close-knit community. The hut is individual in a Peulh family. If you want, you can share our culture, tradition and gastronomy. I am a tourist guide and I know the Bassari area well. I can accompany you to discover the Iwol Andiel sites, the Indefelo waterfall, the Dandé caves, the salemanta caves, Ethiolo and traditional festivals.

River Eco-Camp

The Eco-Campement du fleuve is the best accommodation in the Kedougou area. A magical place with a splendid view of the Gambia River in which it is very pleasant to swim. We are lucky to observe many kinds of birds.
