Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Kennet and Avon Canal

Mollie was super helpful and has a lovely home. We really enjoyed our stay and were able to walk into Bristol easily from the house. It was perfect and I would recommend it highly for anyone looking to stay near Bristol!

We spent a lovely Christmas here as a family of four with our dog pepper. Lovely decor, amenities, kitchen full of everything you need, lots of games for us to play. Great location, lots of fab dog walks, great shops nearby - overall a fantastic stay!

My girls and Paula described the house as 'cute, cosy and homely' and 'excellent'. They had a great time staying there. Thanks for the flexibility too Jamie and Miles.

Absolutely stunning place! A home from home feel. Everything was spotless and absolutely everything was provided, from toilet rolls and milk to washing tablets and tea bags, oh and LOTS of tea towels (which was a blessing…I hate when places just give you one 🥹). On top of the glorious views of the countryside, a pristine garden and comfortable sofa, you won’t want to leave the shower - it’s so powerful 😆!! Thank you Rebecca (and Peter / Judy) for a wonderful stay…and the homemade ginger biscuits 😋 - we hope to return soon x

Didi's place is well appointed and very comfortable with fab shower. great having two living spaces for options, location is good too! Loved how the morning sun streamed into the dining area. Gorgeous way to start the day! Only things to note if you have young children you plan to have in the twin room is that it is at the other end of the house to the master & 2nd bedroom, up a separate staircase which wasn't particularly an issue for us but I imagine for young kids that might pose a concern with not being near or being able to hear them if needed as they'd need to navigate a narrow staircase, go through three rooms and up another flight of stairs to find you. There is also a gap under the gate in the courtyard that any small or medium sized dog could (and ours did) go wandering off under, directly into the (albeit very quiet) road. It's not a reflection on Didi though, can't be helped due to lay of land, but worth noting for those bringing pets. None of this would stop us returning

Me, My partner and 3 children stayed here for one night before heading to longleat safari park. The place was in immaculate condition with plenty of trinkets / games to keep the kids entertained. Nice comfortable stay, everything listed was available. Extra linen/ beddings were also available. Kitchen had lots of utensils to cook/ bake and serve. Easy to use heating system and cooking equipment. Tea/ coffee sugar were also provided.

Lovely, attractive and comfortable house. Very well furnished and fabulously equipped. The large garden is a great space with a range of seating and tables, a chest of garden toys and a little Wendy house! Samantha communicated regularly and promptly but left as undisturbed during our stay. Overall, very highly recommended.

What a beautiful home to spend some time with family and friends. The pool, hot tub and trampoline were absolutely amazing. We had perfect weather for outdoor entertainment. The kitchen was so full of everything you’d ever need! They really have thought of everything. It was like home from home Super comfortable beds We would highly recommend to a any family wanting a weekend doing nothing but pool fun with the kids x

Gill’s place was incredible! We had 16+ comfortably fit with lots of space in the main areas and loads of activities to do. The place was really clean and organised. We walked down the pub and was a lovely time. Would definitely recommend this place to any of my friends and family xx

Our second time at this gorgeous old cottage. Felt at home. So peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful area with fantastic walks and pubs. Would highly recommend if you are looking to get away and want a traditional cottage to relax in.

Great place to stay, we took day trips to Salisbury, Cheltenham and Bath. All were within easy reach. Such a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Homely & well-equipped. Note that to use the indoor pool you have to ring them or walk over at 10:30 in the morning to book a 1 hour slot for the next day. Would definitely recommend staying here. We are looking forward to coming back.

We’ve just got home from our stay and I must admit we’ve never stayed on a complex like this before. However we fancied something different, booked very last minute and it didn’t disappoint. It had everything you needed, good size, and great outdoor space with a gorgeous hot tub and the weather was perfect. On site you have the additional facilities, the lakes for lovely walks and we couldn’t resist the crazy golf. We were also very lucky to make some duck friends who made the stay even more perfect. We will definitely come back and stay here.

We had a perfect Easter weekend stay! Jacqui was a fantastic host, friendly, helpful, and made us feel really welcome. The 2-bed accommodation was lovely: clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with the added bonus of a beautiful pool. It was also very dog-friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location was ideal for exploring nearby Bath, Bristol, Wells, and Glastonbury. Would absolutely recommend and would love to return!

Thank you for the wonderful welcome hamper Victoria, with the very thoughtful touches for my husband and daughter. We've had a brilliant muti-generational family gathering for out first visit to this part of the Cotswolds and had a brilliant time. Your contact with us, the digital guide and the facilities at Lower Mill were brilliant- we have had a very memorable holiday and hope to return.

Bungalow spotless. Really enjoyed our stay. Good location for the airport and is direct on the flight path so you can hear and see planes taking off. House didn’t bother us at all. Will definitely stay again thank you.

We had a wonderful stay at The Bungalow! The property features a spacious, open-plan layout with large windows, offering beautiful views of the surrounding area. The garden is a real highlight, wrapping around the entire house, and is secure, which gave us peace of mind with our dogs. However, it’s worth noting that the fence isn’t particularly high, so more determined dogs could potentially jump over it. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom had a lovely, large shower. Our only suggestion would be to assess the kitchen equipment—specifically, the knives, as they weren’t very sharp. Overall, we had a fantastic stay, and the property is perfectly located for exploring the stunning Forest of Dean. Highly recommend!

Superb house and location with a great host. The photos don't do it justice fully with all of the rooms being bigger than expected, and furnished to high quality. The kitchen was particularly good with everything you could hope for. Great location also with only a 10 minute walk to the heart of Salisbury.

We loved the cottage ,so clean and comfortable and the garden/stream /swing and animals were a real hit with the children. We were made to feel very welcome -homemade cake ,lovely coffee ,bread and eggs ,such a nice touch with Easter eggs for the kids . Thank you Tracey and Dave .

We had a lovely weekend at Amanda’s Annex. It’s set in a beautiful village really close to Tetbury. The accommodation is great, really comfortable and as described in the info. There were some great recommendations for local restaurants. Would absolutely stay again!

Thanks again to Charlie and Nathalie for hosting us in their well-fitted annexe. A lovely quiet spot, tucked out of the way in Milborne Port near Sherborne. This is the second time we’ve stayed whilst visiting family, due to accommodation “overspill”, plus it was nice to get away and have our own space due to having the dog with us 🐶 Great hosts!

My husband & I had a great stay at the little blue house. The location is fantastic and it had all the comforts of home.
