Waterfront holiday rentals in Kenya

The cozy apartment was exactly as advertised. Faith met us at the building and got us situated in the apartment. We did use the mini-fridge to keep some items cool but didn't cook. The fan in the living room made things comfortable there; we might suggest a fan in the bedroom, too. We had a little trouble getting the mosquito netting panels to overlap completely at the sides of the bed. The view from the rooftop is lovely.

We had a joyful stay. Will come back definitely.

The place was amazing, the host was awesome and the view of the stream and hill was fantastic. The place was easily accessible with ample parking. Planning to visit again.

Silvia as well as the cook Gibson were very friendly and accommodating. Silvia always responded very soon and was always happy to help with any questions or requests. Overall the best Airbnb experience I’ve had so far. The kitchen was properly kitted out and had everything. The location was great and very clean. Just a very short walk from the beach. Gibson was an amazing cook and housekeeper and we could always reach him, very humble guy. The food was always fresh and cooked from scratch. Very very happy with the stay and would always recommend! Thank you so much for making it so comfortable!

Our stay was stress free and Jess’s team was very responsive. The property is beautiful as is the view. Would recommend this stay for larger groups since it’s a fairly large house. All in all, we had an amazing time

This was our 4th time at Kilimandege House. Bethany is very informative and responsive as a host. Millie always takes good care of us. This place is definitely worth your time looking at. I thought I’d miss being right at the beach, but honestly, we looked forward to coming ‘home’ to Joseph and David and the calm, quiet, cool of Ruby House. We spent time reading, playing games, reconnecting and resting, as well as swimming and bobbing in the creek - listening and watching birds. It is so peaceful - chatting with fishermen, and just taking in the surroundings. We went for a few day trips- the Gede ruins are well worth an hour of your time, sand dunes north of malindi were great. And we LOVED Garoda Beach - much less seaweed and less busy. I could not speak more highly of the staff - they were present but not, flexible, understanding and really wanted to help make your time enjoyable. The rooms were so comfortable. I think it may be a little hot in the very hot month, but it gets a lovely breeze and there is always the one room to escape into for an afternoon nap if necessary - but we didn’t need to do this. We had a wonderful stay at the lake house! So calm and so close to the nature. At night we sat by the fireplace listening to the sounds of nature and watched the hippos just outside. We really loved staying at the lake house and would love to come back some day.

Anna was a great host and it was so lovely to have our chocolate Labrador join us and enjoy the location right by Galu Beach. Anna has 2 really cute ridgebacks who are super friendly and got along with our dog. The house was super cute and clean, and perfect for a couple with a dog. Walking distance from Salty Squid and close to a kit surfing school as well. It was slightly hot during the night, but Anna provided an extra fan which did wonders! Anna was a wonderful host and super friendly and helpful, Thank you for a great stay, we hope to be back soon :)

We had great time. Very convenient to reach the tourist attractions and restaurants. The host was super and responded promptly.

Aly was a wonderful host for a trip with my friends. The listing looked just like the photos and the view was even better in person. One of our group unfortunately fell ill and Aly was quick to give us a recommendation for a nearby hospital. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend for anyone looking for a nice spot in Mombasa.

A private secured and peaceful location. Walking distance to the Carrefour supermarket and Java House Cafe. Restaurants are accessible via taxi.

We had a pleasant stay. Lots of amenities associated with the Gecko resort. Good restaurants not far away. Tribe Water Sports on the beach. Great Kite Boarding. Two big pools. Nightly entertainment. Daily cleaning.

We loved our 10 day stay at Susan's place - so much so that we are already looking to book again! Its a fabulous location, next door to a host of great beach restaurants, coffee shops and food stops. It was perfect with young kids, we could run out to the pool and beach (with is connected to the property) and also have AC in the house for when we needed rest. The flat itself is clean, comfortable (especially the beds) and has everything you'll need! It exceeded our expectations and we have already recommended to friends.

Great stay, good location. No complaints at all. Good value, too.
