Our unit is perfect for 2 adults (king sized bed) but may also facilitate 1 child or extra adult (sofa bed) in same room. Fully equipt kitchen facilities as well as ensuite bathroom.

This snug, grass-roofed eco-cabin offers panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy a warm Irish welcome, mountain walks on the Beara Way or snorkelling through nearby reefs. Sample local cheeses, lamb, fish and seafood or stoke up the wood-burning stove, have a glass of wine and and savour the peace and tranquillity! Word of warning: we are VERY remote, (1km off the road down a rough track). With almost no public transport, own transport (eg car) is highly recommended - see Getting Around!

The Boat House is located right on the beach (perfectly safe for kids) on the island of Valentia off the Southwest coast of Ireland. The big window in the sitting room overlooks the beach, Lighthouse, Beginish Island and beyond. Cyclists will also be in their element with The Healy Pass a few kilometres away. Kenmare is half an hour away with wonderful shops and restaurants.
