Ndonya Kwetu is an absolute delight. We stayed for one week and it was one of the best places we've ever stayed in. Everything is exactly as described, except that still somehow undersells it. The apartment is furnished very well, all very comfortable and such a relief that everything works well. The Pool is fantastic and a great area to relax and unwind. This is an excellent base to stay as all the local Mombasa amenities and entertainment places are super close by, yet far enough away to escape from. The stay was so peaceful and relaxing. For a great self-catering holiday home, this is the place to come!! Thanks to all the hosts and staff who made us so welcome, we will be back!

We really liked the location and the room, it was very clean, quiet, comfortable. Helpful, pleasant staff and owners. Sue and Damian told us everything and showed us which places are worth visiting and at what time to avoid queues. The location is very close to the coast, a diving and kitesurfing school. There is very calm and quiet. This is the best place to relax if you want to avoid crowds. We highly recommend it and we will definitely come back. Special thanks to John, Gibson, Pluto, Rocket and Nulu

To be honest, I had a great time staying Sandra's place. Very private and peaceful i had the way compound to myself, very clean pool, the place is easily accessible, Wilfred was very welcoming, and was available all through in case I needed any ass. I would highly recommend the place to anyone. Sandra I will come back, and thank you.

This is one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed. The pictures don't do it justice. We were there for a week and I didn't want to leave. The place is stunning. Harry is so kind and helpful. It's clear he loves Kilifi so much and his recommendations were amazing. He will give you all the information and contacts you need for a very peaceful stay. You will feel right at home. I look forward to coming back again. Thank you for hosting me and my daughter.

Takaungu Private House - smidge of heaven!

Time slows down as you recline on the cushions, a frosty drink in hand, your face cooled by the breeze. Looking out over Takaungu bay, the flippers of the fishermen bobbing up and down in the waves, dhows outlining the horizon, the kids distracted in the pool, gives you the space to let go of your city worries and let the serenity wash over you like the waves of a calm mid-month ocean tide. Thank you Charlie and Philip and the amazing team for taking such good care of us. Christine's lemon cake will not be soon forgotten! We will be back!

This is definitely one of the best Airbnb we've booked. The house is very beautiful, the staff is absolutely grandiose, it's a real haven of peace. We had a truly unforgettable stay because we felt at home. Big up in Pluto and Elsa which bring a lot of tenderness to the stay. And a special mention to Tina, Chai and the rest of the staff who are proactive, both discreet and present at the slightest need. Difficult to put above 5 but if I could have done it itwould have been without hesitation. Thank you for everything very sincerely.

We had a great time during our stay, which led us to extend our visit. The place was even better than we anticipated. The staff were gracious as well, especially Phedis- the manager. I would highly recommend it to other guests, as well as to family and friends.

Anna's place was an absolute dream! It was everything I hoped for – beautiful, serene, and completely immersed in nature. I needed a peaceful escape, and that's exactly what I got. Anna was a fantastic host, incredibly responsive and full of brilliant local tips for activities and dining. And shockingly, as a cat person myself, the doggies were the highlight of my trip!
