It provides a unique, rural retreat for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers wishing to get away from it all. Sitting amongst beautiful, ancient beech trees, our cosy, straw bale barn is an ideal place to come and relax and to leave the world behind. The barn is detached and is surrounded by trees, open fields and the sound of birds and running water.

Woollen blankets, feather sofa, antique Scandinavian log burner, king-size bed with French linen & down, waterfall shower, & the softest towels. Our sleepy Devon hamlet is only lit by stars at night. A lovely waterside property, in a stunning location on the green at Lower Batson, with views along Batson Creek. Poachers Pocket offers comfortable accommodation for 8, including its own dedicated parking space and external locked storage a few steps from the water; perfect for paddle boards, inflatable dinghies, bikes etc. The house is a 15 minute flat walk along the water’s edge to the centre of Salcombe with its shops, pubs and restaurants.
