Tiffany Diamond Hotels- Dar

Hotel in central Dar with convenient location for the ferry port. The nightclub upstairs was a bit noisy. The breakfast was delicious, with a good choice. The reception staff organized an airport transfer. It was great that we could leave our stuff in their luggage room due to our late flight.

Double Room (#1 ~ Johari)

If you choose to stay with the St. Gemma Nuns you will not regret it! I stayed with them for 4 weeks this summer while interning at a research foundation in Dar Es Salaam. As a woman staying in Dar Es Salaam by myself, living with the St. Gemma Nuns was the perfect place. It is simple and peaceful, but everything one would need. The nuns are kind and welcoming. They instantly make you feel at home and looked after. Location-wise it is also very nice, within walking distance of a large supermarket and close to multiple good restaurants and cafes.

Private Room in Hostel with Pool

Thank you to this nice place where we could have stayed during our short time in Dar es Salaam. Good service, flexible communication and organisation as well on spot. We just recommend the stay here, if you are here for short or long stay. It is as well a nice place to relax, the swimming pool is just perfect to have a break when you come back from the noisy city. Good internet, free WiFi - for everybody who has to do as well some work or just for fun. Also the supermarket just 10 minutes by foot is very much recommendable - you can everything and more at this place, as well a ATM-Maschine. Janine and friends

Boutique Rooms at Kind Earth Vegan Eatery, Masaki

MercedesRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Loved this place. It’s not down town, for you guys wondering about that, but the Masaki area is amazing if you want to chill and have it a little bit more quiet around you. And don’t get me wrong, you don’t have to be bored: the best night clubs are just around the corner. And Coco Beach. Not the most beautiful beach in Dar, but lively and friendly. If you book a room with Velisa you get the best vegetarian food in town, air condition, safety and the sweetest people. I highly recommend it. ❤️
