Make memories in our old house that we love deeply. You will be accommodated in a quiet old courtyard a little further away from the bustling Levi tourist centre. You can see reindeer from the window and the northern lights in the sky as you walk around the yard. In the morning, you will get to experience the everyday life of a reindeer herder and we will feed the reindeer together. If you are lucky, the tame reindeer may come to sniff you and even let you stroke them. The reindeer are semi-domesticated, so they are in the forest from May to November.

Built in 1965, the house (3 rooms, kitchen, sauna, toilet) is located in Finnish Lapland in the natural and peaceful village of Kaukonen near Kittilä. Kaukosa is home to the famous Särestöniemi Art Museum. At Villa Magia, you can admire ceramics, unique clothes, and jewelry. In early June, Kaukos hosts the Silence Festival. Near Yllästunturi, Lainio has Snow Village, a snow village and hotel. The distance from the property is 40 km (35 min) to Levitunturi, 26 km to Yllästunturi and 20 km to Snow Village.

Our luxury is peace and quiet under the starry sky and northern lights. You can get there by car, but you don't have to see anyone during your entire stay if you don't want to, but you're still only about 45 minutes from the city center. We are sure that you will fall in love with our peaceful cabin in the middle of snow and northern lights. The cottage is always warm when you arrive, and we will take care of you throughout your stay as if you were our friends.

Located in a quiet outer district! Use of the private sauna is possible between 4 pm and 8 pm. Cost: 20 euros in cash or MobilePay per sauna session! Bath towels are ready in the sauna, you would have to bring your own shower shampoo! Report 2 hours in advance so I can prepare the sauna. Thanks! You can use the hot tub during your stay. To fire it up with wood, to the desired temperature, you need about 6-8 hours. Cost: 40 euros for water and wood!

Peacefully located Alpine cabin, main house is on the 2nd floor. Downstairs is a cosy 35m2 studio with own entrance and spacious parking for the guests to use. The location of the cabin is between Levi Fell and Kätkä Fell and the view from the studio is towards Kätkä Fell. Your hostesses are Tarja and Scott and we live upstairs and are happy to help you with anything and any questions you might have. We speak fluent English and Finnish.
