Vogelsang Farm Cottage | Self Catering

This private open-plan self catering farm cottage offers old-world charm with a stylish, minimalist touch. This cottage is situated across from the beautiful heritage church off the main road, yet still walking distance to all attractions De Rust has to offer. The cottage offers crisp high thread count bedding, a new mattress, fresh towels and a modern shower. The unit has high speed uncapped wifi, as well as safe and secure parking behind an automated gate.

Cloud Cottage is located on Voogsekraal estate. The estate stretches along the mountainous and truly breathtaking Prince Alfred Pass. The estate forms part of the Outeniqua Mountains. This means exquisite views, waterfalls and walks.  The cottage is nestled into the hillside, amidst rockery and fynbos. With no neighbouring farms, cell reception, nor electricity, one is able to experience a true getaway.

Privacy and space is important to some extinguished guests..... The doors open onto your own garden where you can relax under the trees or enjoy the hot Karoo sun on the pool lounger. In winter the fireplace heats up the entire suite right to your bath when you feel like floating in the water with the crackle of wood to complete a romantic breakaway.

Our new vacation homes are located in the Schwartbergen with breathtaking views of the mountain peaks. Enjoy a nice time in your own hot tub on the terrace or spend nice hours at the outdoor grill. The private lake with direct access is about 5 minutes' walk. Ecological construction with solar and spring water ensures optimal sustainability.

Large garden full of fruit trees and birds. Please note that most of our guests who book for one night regret not staying longer, so we do recommend longer stays if you have the time!

Chalet 2 is perfect for two people, the bed can be made into King or Single bed. The Chalet has an en-suite bathroom with inside and outside showers. Own little kitchenet and dining table that walks onto the magnificent stoep with splash pool and barbeque.
