This beautiful home is an ode to MCM design- the kitchen and bathrooms have modern amenities while still retaining their original charm. 4 bedrooms give ample space; 3 w/queen beds, 1 w/twin beds. The family room has a puzzle table, games, large screen TV & cozy couch. The living room features original shag carpet, stunning views, and a gas fireplace. But the real charm is the location! Several good restaurants and bars nearby; downtown Y a block away. 12' ceilings, hardwood floors, full kitchen and bathroom, coin laundry down the hall. Heat from radiators. Window AC units in summer. TV in bedroom. (For some reason, the listing says 4 beds; that is incorrect.) The apt. is on the 2nd floor: 26 steps. (No elevator.) Parking in lot across the street. Host lives nearby.

There are four bedrooms each with a full bath and their own unique style. A full kitchen, dining room, front room furnished with piano & base, side parlor, library, vault, front & back porch and many sitting areas available for your enjoyment. Just a 1/2 mile walk through a historic neighborhood to our beautiful downtown Galesburg.
