Relax in the many large spaces this open plan home enjoys or unwind with a drink n BBQ watching the sunset over the lake. Perhaps take a 5 min walk to the cosmopolitan cafes/restaurants and lakeside pleasures. Or bike riding some of the 20km of cycling track around the lake edges or even some dedicated mountain bike trails nearby. We have two mountain bikes available!

The Church is a very private 140 year old timber church with gothic windows and high ceilings set in its own lush native garden The living area is spacious with French Doors opening onto a large veranda under shady trees The bedroom is on a mezzanine level with a queen bed Bathroom is large with a long, deep cast iron bath. Pet friendly inside and out. 5 min walk to a nature reserve and Kotara rail station (Sydney line) 15-25 min to beach by car, bus or train very near (1-5 min walk)

Welcome to The Miner’s Daughter, a cosy cottage tucked into the heart of the city. This converted 1890s home is open and bright, while still flickering with the nostalgia of Newcastle’s history. A perfect place for couples to relax, your very own home away from home, sprinkled with some old school charm and inner city love. The cottage is ideally positioned. Just a walk to beautiful surrounding beaches and amazing bars and eateries. Coffee is in abundance…a stroll in every direction.

Self-cont Cabin, Smart TV, Netflix, unlimited NBN

The Cabin is a large room divided by a large wardrobe and Hutch with the bedroom (Queen Bed) on one side, and the living area on the other. In the large Bedroom area there is also a desk and smart TV, Netflix, and the toilet/shower room is accessed there. The kitchen is well equipped and I provide frozen gluten free and other breads as well as many other provisions. The lounge and chair both fold down into beds (a double, and a single) but are quite firm.

Coles shopping centre, boutiques, banks, post office, newsagent, restaurants, cafes, takeaways, hotel and bowling club are nearby. By car it’s a 20 minute drive to Newcastle, Merewether and Nobbys beach. The closest major shopping centres are Mt Hutton, Charlestown and Kotara.
