Old, cozy cottage in the countryside, yet close to everything

Next to Hjälstaviken's nature reserve is this cottage, which is a wing building to Husby-Sjutolft's vicarage. Parts of the house are probably from the 1700s. The house is 60 square meters with two rooms, kitchen, hall and bathroom with shower. You live next door to the host family, but have your own "backside" with a balcony down the afternoon and evening sun and views of the agricultural landscape. In the area, there are nice walking paths and trails around Hjälstaviken, at Ekolsund Castle and in the forests around. Grocery store is within 10 km.

Lake house Ängelsberg

Right by the water in its own bay is the Lake House. Here you live as if on the lake, with the jetty as an extension of the floor and nature close by. Rent our rowboat and fish in Åmänningen, there are plenty of zander and perch here. The coffee tastes best barefoot on the jetty. In the evening, fire and evening sun await. Electricity is available – but no running water. Simple, beautiful and authentic. 2 hours from Stockholm. Walking distance from the train. The cottage is located in historic Ängelsberg with restaurants & attractions.

Beautiful house south of Heby

Welcome to a farm with a stylish and comfortable house dating back to 1892. Beautifully located in the Örsundaån valley with forest, fields and very nice surroundings. In addition, in a quiet and private location with a large garden and walkable gravel roads. The house constitutes a wing building to the larger house which today is unoccupied which gives you an undisturbed accommodation. You can easily get here on Uppsala County regional bus 225 between Heby and Enköping, which stops 200 metres from the property.

Cottage in genuine Dalaby. Close to a nice swimming lake with a sandy beach (3 km) and 20 km to the popular Romme Alpin. With sufficient snow, there are cross-country ski trails around the area. You will also find good shopping in Kupolen Borlänge just 18 km away. Firewood for the fireplace is on site. During spring, summer and autumn, the deep Solvarbo ravine is 100 meters from the house, which provides a nice nature experience. In Säter there is also a golf course in beautiful nature by Lake Ljustern.

Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2 km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop, 4-minute walk. The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. Here you live in a cozy timber house from 1909 with modern amenities. Walking distance to Ludvika's range of shops and restaurants. In winter, there are good opportunities for skiing, both in tracks and downhill. Romme alpine is 30 minutes away. Summer time there is possibility for fishing in Övre Hillen. Fish from the jetty or rent our plastic boat with electric motor (SEK 150/half-day 8-12, 12-16). Fishing license SEK 50/day.
