We loved Gunnvor's place, a really cozy and homely place, perfectly equipped, cozy beds. The location is beautifully surrounded by nature, you can take beautiful hikes, mountains and also the Folgefonna National Park are easily accessible. Unfortunately, we were in the area for far too short a time. Gunnvor herself came by in the late afternoon and welcomed us personally. She gave us great tips for the surrounding area and also explained and showed us everything in the house. Great hostess!!

We (2 adults, 2 children, one dog) stayed at the property for almost two weeks. We liked the house, especially the terrace and the direct location on the fjord. Christian was very nice and always responded quickly, thank you for that!

The house with the most beautiful view and impeccable cleanliness is truly a gem. Our second visit was just as delightful as the first, and we are already looking forward to many more visits in the future. It’s a wonderful house with a great view on the fjord. Everything you want is in the house. We had terrible wheater but enjoyed the darts, PlayStation and BBQ. Great that the terrace is covered! Supermarket is nearby, 2 minute drive. Great place to stay for a few days. Hans is a great host

Beautiful place. Great location and scenic view! Mr. Sverre is very friendly and helpful. Even we had the very last minute booking and check in after sunset. He's still walk us around and give all the informations we need. Feel like home and local. Very warm and touching especially when we are in the foreign country. All the equipments are very easy to use. Very comfortable stay. Pleasant journey!

We had an excellent stay in Liv's family home. The location of the house is great, with a view of the fjord from the living room and from the (large) garden - even in the summer you could see part of the folgefonna glacier across the lake. Oystese and surrounding area offer plenty of things to do in summer: we went swimming (in the fjord, or indoors when it was raining), hiking, and we visited some very nice local points of interest (maritime museum, etc). The house is spacious and had everything we needed. You can tell Live and her family have invested significantly in the house and the garden. We appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and fresh raspberries from the garden. Our 2-year-old daughter loved the Moomin themed bedroom and all the available toys. Communication with Liv was smooth. Thank you, Liv!

We visited this beautiful place with our 2 year old daughter. Great for us! The house has lovely views and is well sheltered. Good facilities and a good starting point for mountain hiking and other activities for big and small. Sparkling clean. Gro and Øystein are great hosts who go above and beyond for a good experience.
