Además a 2.3 km se encuentra el Monumento a Guemes donde esta el ascenso por trekking al Cerro San Bernardo que ofrece vista panorámica de la ciudad. Otra forma de ascender al cerro es a traves del Teleférico ubicado en el Parque San Martin a 2.9 km del departamento El Portal a 8 cuadras(restaurante, supermercado, tiendas)

Campo Quijano is a very quiet place at the foot of the mountain, ideal for walks along the train to the clouds, Cachi or Cafayate, and very pleasant weather. Children can play quietly on the sidewalks! The comfort of the beds is remarkable, queen bed base, quality mattresses, the light, the cozy space and the fully equipped kitchen. My accommodation is good for couples, adventurers, business travelers and families (with kids).

We took our name Lapacho Amarillo from the native tree of our village. Between August and September you can see it blooming from our terrace. Lapacho Amarillo is run by its owners.
