We are located approximately 30 minutes south of the town of Cerro Castillo and the use of a 4x4 vehicle is not necessary for your arrival (12 km of gravel road). La Rinconada is located in the town of Puerto Tranquilo, on the western shore of Lake General Carrera, in the Aysén Region about 220 km from Coyhaique on the southern highway. It is a town of 500 inhabitants. One of its main attractions is the Marble Chapel, a mineral formation of calcium carbonate on the shores of Lake General Carrera.
