Casa da Fonte is in Lugar da Praia, a small village situated in a valley between the mountain and the beaches, on the south coast of São Miguel. It is in the center of the Island, close to the freeway, ideal as a starting point for long car or walking tours. There are several sandy beaches around, a waterfall and a natural pool a 5-minute walk away, and a hiking trail with a breathtaking landscape. Quiet place, in the middle of nature, without noise from cars. Totally relaxing and invigorating!

It consists of 2 double bed rooms, 1 bathroom, a fully equipped kitchenette and a living room with a panoramic view of the ocean. This space was designed to provide moments of pure relaxation, offering a SPA and a solarium designed over the sea.

House with Suspended Living Room

Our Retreat is a rural nineteenth-century house, restored with the desire to conserve the time of construction characteristics. Not only did we keep the main structure of the house, but also the fire oven and the respective chimney, the mill of wine production and the basalt stone floor . And, to finalize we added a suspended living room - literally a glass cube.
