Off-the-grid stone cottage in the Little Karoo

Off grid cottage set in the heart of the Little Karoo within the Touwsberg Nature and Game Reserve. The reserve is well known for it's biodiverse fauna and flora and stunning scenery. Located off Route 62, midway between Barrydale and Ladismith, accessible with an average car/sedan, that has at least 17cm off ground clearance. The Cottage is well equipped, with indoor fireplace, cosy and completely private - the perfect Winter stay. Note: cell/3G reception requires a 2 minute walk; no wifi.

Welcome to our charming 2-bedroom unit, perfect for a cozy getaway! Each bedroom features a comfortable double bed and ensuite bathroom with shower, complete with electric blankets and heaters for your comfort. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with a 2-plate gas stove and air fryer, with a cozy dining area. Unwind in the lounge or by the original wood-burning fireplace. Thoughtfully decorated with farm history accents, this space beautifully combines rustic charm and modern comfort

Bontebok House - Three Holes

Bontebok house is a modern off-grid (only solar power) cottage in a remote valley of our reserve. Enjoy the quietness and wildlife on your doorstep! It has two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped, has a fridge, an oven and a gas stove. There's also a fireplace, braai on the veranda and wood fired hot tub. This house does not have WiFi or cell reception. 4km from the house lies our yard with free WiFi access. Firewood is available at our shop for R50/crate.

Klaasvoogds Cottage, 90m2, minimally affected by loadshedding, offers a charming, luxurious self-catering cottage on a working farm. It has a gas stove, solar geyser and an inverter so TV, lights, fridge and wifi not affected at all. It is well-equipped for long stays, centrally located in the Robertson wine valley on route 62. Enjoy lovely views of the vineyards, orchards and moutains.
