Timms Cottage

Timms Cottage is a rustic farm cottage and allows you to relax with an indoor outdoor space giving you breath taking views of Mt Dobson, Fox Peak and our farm. The cottage is situated behind the family homestead within our garden on our farm, providing a peaceful and private setting. We are a working farm. We are 10 km from Fairlie which has some great eating places, 3 km from Lake Opuha and half an hour from Mount Dobson and Fox Peak. Tekapo and Geraldine are only half an hour away.

Enjoy this fully self-contained apartment (50㎡ + deck) with breathtaking views of Lake Tekapo and the surrounding mountains. Perfect for a couple, it features a NZ King (167cmx203cm) bedroom separate from the open-plan kitchen and dining area. The space is ideally suited for two, but we’re happy to accommodate a third guest using the sofa bed in the living room. Homebush Cottage is part of the 130 year old former Homebush School, located on the Southern Scenic Route, 8kms from Darfield township and close to popular Skifields, Lakes and amazing tourist destinations, thus making us the perfect stopover. The cottage is set on 3 acres including beautiful rambling gardens and tennis court. The Cottage is super comfy and suitable for a couple. We provide a self catering continental breakfast including free range eggs from Brown Shavers !!!

Awesome outdoor bath - great for stargazing. There are balconies on three sides of the tower.
