Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Lake Koocanusa

We had a wonderful stay at Steve's home. We had 5 adults, 1 toddler and 1 dog and there was plenty of room for everybody. The home itself is very private, and lovely scenery around. Less than an hour from Waterton Lakes National Park. Very quiet, and comfortable home in the foothills. Host was very good at communicating promptly. Home was as advertised, and pictures accurately represented the property. Amazing kitchen, well stocked with all the gadgets you need for cooking large meals. Lots of cutlery, plates, bowls, cups, pots + pans etc. Great place for a family holiday together. Would absolutely stay here again.

Everyone in our three families loved this place. There was certainly a lot for the kids to do but so comfortable and perfectly set up for the adults. This house was just right for our group. We have stayed at a number of places for our family gatherings and this is one of our favorites! Thank you for the quick responses to questions and having such a wonderful spot for us to enjoy!

We absolutely loved our stay. It was comfortable and one of those places we felt at home in. The hook game was a source of entertainment and laughs for all. Thank you, we hope to make this stay again in the future.

This is our second time to visit Amellia's place. It is a wonderful location for Sandpoint and relaxing in Dover. Everything you need is close by and easy to find. Beautiful clean bungalow, we felt right at home. Very comfortable beds, linens and pillows. Highly recommend

This was our second year staying here for our ski trip to Sandpoint and it’s the perfect place! We love that there is a pack n play along with coloring books and games for our daughter. Can’t wait to come back

We loved our stay! It was the perfect distance between Castle and Fernie, allowing us to have an amazing weekend full of skiing. The place was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. Loved that it was pet friendly so our critter could come along.

this was a beautiful place to just relax and take in the views, privacy and stillness. Everything was nice and clean- cookware available...also backyard chairs to take in the breath-taking views... very quiet and peaceful location!! the host responded quickly when I reached out .. WOULD DEF recommend - Amazing stay!!

Dad and I spent a week here in April 2025 to visit Glacier National Park. This place was PERFECT! The views from the porches and the yard are beautiful. The area is nice and quiet. We saw deer, turkeys, pheasant, and geese (flying over). We sat at the table, playing cribbage, each night and saw the deer come walking through the yard. The kitchen was very well stocked. We used the washing machine and dryer - there is soap and dryer sheets. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. There are extra sheets and blankets in the closets. The couches are very comfortable. I noticed that the wall heater in the master bedroom was not working the first night and I messaged Niki to ask about it. She was VERY responsive and we chatted back and forth and she brought a space heater over for me to use until they could look at it. This fix was perfectly fine for me and worked well We have nothing negative to say about this stay and would definitely recommend Niki's place! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I cannot say enough. Great location and peaceful. I recommend this listing after visiting local attractions and just chilling. Lots of food options around.

super convenient location. close to town and near bypass. the pool was amazing- we stayed in February when it was freezing outside and the kids stayed in the pool for hours!! host was super responsive.

This was a great place to stay while visiting family. The home was clean and bed are comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

Oh what a gem!!!! The lake and mountains to have morning coffee and evening wine by were breathtaking!! I stayed with my dog and it was a very friendly area for dogs!! Looks like the photos! Will absolutely come back!!!

We had a great stay at Petro's place! It was such a perfect location and had a lovely trail to walk our dogs. Our son thoroughly enjoyed having an indoor pool walking distance as well. There were lots of games to play and everything we needed in the kitchen. Our pups and I thank you for making your fabulous condo accessible to us!

Sharlene is a great host. She’s very easy to communicate with and is a kind person. I loved the location and layout of her place. Nice quiet bottom floor end of hall unit. Comfortable furniture and beds. I would recommend Sharlene to anyone looking at staying in the area

The unit was a a wonderful location for those insterested in quiet mountain stay , right near the actiin at kimberely xc and downhill skiing. Both were walkable right drom the unit. The local bus picks up and drops off daily right i. Front of the unit or its a quuck drive downtown. The host was extremely friendly, helpful and responsive with any questions and the studio unit was very roomy, super clean and very cute and comfortably apointed! Thiers a little sitting and great views from the main entrance, even tho its at the back of the building. Would be great in summer or i enjoyed sitting out in the sun on a warm winter weekend! Would highly reccamend and would lov to come back for another getaway in the summer to do the mountain bike and hiking trails nearby! Thanks for a lovely, relaxing stay!

I cannot say enough about how awesome Ray’s place is! We booked a last minute trip to Montana with family over the long weekend. We had 5 adults and two dogs and the place was perfect for all of us. It is large and spacious and the grounds are kept immaculately. Thought not fully fenced our dogs had a great time playing fetch in the large lawn and exploring. We loved the pool and hot pool. There is a tiki hut with refrigerators where we enjoyed getting refreshments from as we hung out. The barbecue and kitchen with all the amenities made it so we could relax and make meals and it was perfectly set up! This place exceeded our expectations and we can’t wait to be back. Thank you for sharing your place Ray!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Christie's place. Our trip was all about Glacier National Park and we were equally close to the park and to grocery shopping nearby. We cooked all of our meals at Christie's and appreciated the well stocked kitchen--a good variety of prep and cooking tools and a well stocked pantry of spices and oils. The place itself was spacious, but still cozy and the outdoor space was very private. The beds and linens were super comfy! Lucy definitely welcomed us being around and came to visit a few times, which we enjoyed. She is a big sweetie. Christie recommend a local butcher (excellent and fair priced selections!) and I guess Lucy just couldn't resist the alure of the amazing rib-eye we grilled. Ooops....we sneaked her a few bites. Both Doug and Christie were friendly and very welcoming and at the same time respected our vacation time privacy. We would definitely stay again if we are lucky enough to find ourselves back in the area!

Location was a perfect distance from where we are located. Anytime the mountains are close by it’s the best place to be. Home was as described.

The place is a beautiful little retreat. Surrounded by the mountains in the middle of Fernie. Everything is close by and you can walk everywhere. The Hot Tub outside makes it perfect to relax. The Host Beth was always very responsive and got back to us super fast. She even went out of her way to organize us what we needed. Thank you so much for everything! 10/10 would book again :)

Blackridge Cabin was everything we hoped for and more! Kip and Jennifer were incredibly gracious, and the setting was breathtaking! We grilled and ate outside one night and the view and sunset were stunning! (Also enjoyed that bottle of wine—thank you!) The cabin itself was very clean and had everything we needed. Lastly, the hot tub was a bonus! Thank you so much for your hospitality—we had an amazing stay!

Great Place to stay close to schweitzer and close to town. I stayed here for a whole month and had a great time. Would stay here again.

A perfect little cabin to relax and enjoy this beautiful part of the country. Mike and Lindsey were awesome friendly host. They welcomed me and made me feel right at home. I can’t wait to visit again!

My family and I just had a very lovely stay at Tanjou and Robb’s. The condo was clean and nicely appointed. The kitchen had every thing we could need for cooking meals. They even had a coffee grinder for our beans and a popcorn maker. The living room was super cozy with room for the three of us to snuggle up as a family and enjoy a movie night. The hot tub was perfect after a day of hitting the slopes. Clean and a really great size. It sits on the balcony and looks over the forest. So relaxing. There are two spacious bedrooms. The master has its own ensuite too. The beds were very comfortable. We could walk up to the Elk Chair and it was quick ski right down to the parking lot of the condo complex at the end of the day. We really enjoyed our mountain getaway and will definitely come back to stay here!

This was a wonderful location. The cottage was beautifully decorated and had everything anyone could want. Quiet, peaceful and clean. Lots of personal touches- our names printed on a lovely card, chocolates, many snacks, bottle of wine. Even the fridge has basics which was so sweet and helpful. Places available to walk and stretch our legs. Lots of wonderful information about local recommendations as well as information on Glacier National Park. The bed was very comfortable and we finally slept great. We saw deer and a wild turkey family. The fireplace was a nice touch. I didn’t need it but every lotion, room spray, q-tips and single use bathroom items available under the bathroom sink. I always like to list this because if you did need it, it would be important to have-a bathroom plunger was present. Wonderful private and beautiful stay. Thank you very much. 10/10!!!
