Please be careful with heavy luggage as the room is on the second floor and there are stairs. The bank of the Shinano River is a short walk away, so the Nagaoka Fireworks venue is nearby. You can also see some fireworks from the room. (Please arrange your own tickets as the fireworks venue is charged.) When there are no fireworks, we recommend taking a walk along the banks of the Shinano River, buying a bento and a drink, and relaxing on a bench overlooking the river ♪ It is about 15-20 minutes on foot from the station, so you can also come on foot. There are many bars, sushi shops, ramen shops, restaurants, and shops where you can taste Niigata specialties around the station. You can compare sake at the Ponshukan at the station. There is also a supermarket and a 7-Eleven near the apartment. It is a quiet residential neighborhood, so please refrain from making loud noises or playing music at night or early in the morning.

Ogura is the descendant of a woodworker who lived with wood. Questioning modern housing that relies on 24-hour air conditioning for comfort, we created a space that feels like a wooden sunbeam, where you can feel the natural wind and sunlight while inside the house. While taking advantage of traditional Japanese carpentry techniques, you can stay comfortably without any inconvenience by incorporating modern facilities. On a dark night when you can see many stars, the sound of birds and the wind, and powdery snow that is so smooth that you can't make snowballs. Feel the magnificent nature of Minamiaizu with all five senses. There are few restaurants nearby that are open late, but the open kitchen is stocked with special cooking utensils, dishes, and basic condiments, so we recommend cooking for yourself.

Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

You rent the entire building, so you don't have to worry about sharing it with others. The house only has a shower, but there is a hot spring nearby.
