We had a great stay at Frog Lodge - it was wonderful to be able to stay at such a lovely home that also welcomed our dogs. The fenced yard was perfect for them and we enjoyed sitting on the deck in the afternoon sun. We had such great communication from Jan in the lead up that we had no questions or concerns and everything went smoothly. We would love to stay again next time we are in the area and would 100% recommend a stay in Autumn, such a beautiful time of year in the area.

The best airbnb we had during our entire south island trip. Alex's place looks exactly as the photos posted and it feels very homey. The kitchen has complete amenities, with everything you need. Alex is extremely helpful and responds immediately. easy check in and check out. highly recommended and would definitely stay here again if we return to lake tekapo.

The communication was very efficient. The house is a bit dated but that's how it is for the stretch of houses along Lake Tekapo. The house is beautiful with very convenient location, with superb view of the lake at day time and open sky for star viewing at night.

We had a great stay in Tekapo! The house was comfortable and well located. The self check-in was very easy and we had everything we needed for a quick stay.

Spacious new home - comfortable after being out enjoying the outdoors at Lake Ohau and surrounds. Very comfortable and well equipped.

A quaint cottage that reminded us of visits to Nana's in the past. Location close to town (2 minutes walk) which has a great Four Square supermarket, Fairlie Bakehouse - amazing pies and doughnuts, Carnegies Restaurant in the old library for awesome meals and friendly stage. Museum also within 5 minutes walk. Would definitely return.

Such an awesome spot. Had our own private cottage behind the shops with parking. The fridge was stocked with a few breakfast items and they even brought us bread for the morning for toast. There’s a little coffee cart in front with the shops so we were able to grab a cup before heading to check out Lake Tekapo and the observatory. We were greeted by Chickie, a solo chicken who was very friendly and we were also told there were alpacas on the property, but didn’t see any due to the weather probably. Definitely a unique and interest spot to check out, but still nice and quiet. Would definitely stay again.

Steve's place is very spacious, clean and tidy. Easy to get to. Well equipped. Quiet neighbourhood. The only problem, which has been mentioned before, and which I hope Steve can fix, is the very low hot water pressure. The shower mixer is very difficult to adjust to get the temperature right - the water coming out is either very little and far too hot or more plentiful and cold. But we enjoyed our stay. Thanks Steve.

Highly recommend! Friendly and helpful. Warm and have everything in the kitchen. The weather is not good. Rain all day. If there have a table and seats inside will be great.

great home base for exploring Mt Cook. Tania's place had everything we needed. the grill was super convenient. the bed was comfortable, but the pillows were too flat for us and the bed sheets were noisy. Tania was a great host and very responsive/accommodating. we would definitely stay here again.

Love the living room area. Kitchen has everything we need. This place is much better than the pictures was show in the listing. Unfortunately because the weather, it was cloudy the two days we stay in Tekapo, so we aren’t able to see the stargazing. But if the sky is clear, this will be the place you want to stay！

Honestly the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. Toni and David are such wonderful humans and made us feel right at home. The level of detail and thought they put into our experience was incredible. The Grove is such a beautiful and peaceful location and the Hut is beautifully put together and so cozy with the fireplace going. The outdoor baths are definitely a highlight, we had the most magical time star gazing and drinking wine. 100% will recommend to anyone who will stop and listen to me!
