Holiday rentals with breakfast in Lalibela

Dessiew is a phenomenal host he is happy to organise as much or as little as you require. Breakfast is superb and it’s a great place to meet other travellers. The WiFi is good as is the hot water. The homestay is a walk out of town which is fun during the day and easy by tuktuk at night. He sorted airport shuttle for us and his place is a 2 minute walk from the bus station if that’s how you arrive/depart. He’s planning a garden and a roof terrace - we’ll be back!

Habebe has created a paradise here, with breathtaking views over the valley! The guesthouse is incredibly beautiful, very comfortable, and meets Western standards. Habebe also offers cooking classes where you can learn how to make the best injera. Habebe is committed to the local people. I really enjoyed it all!

Habtamu’s apt is the perfect place to experience Lalibela. It’s up the hill a bit so you get a local experience but still a 10-15 walk to the town and churches. The views from the balcony are fantastic! The apartment has plenty of room and perfectly safe. I would 100% recommend for an authentic and comfortable holiday.
