Lime Kiln Cottage is a cosy, traditionally built stone cottage with a sunny courtyard garden and parking for two cars. The cottage is less than two minutes walk from the tidal River Fowey where there is a slipway suitable for launching small watercraft. A level 5 min walk will take you into the town where there are many historic buildings and a variety of independent shops, several pubs, restaurants, cafe's and a co-op. Lostwithiel Railway Station is on the mainline from London to Penzance.
“We loved Lostwithiel and Lime Kiln Cottage! A gorgeous, classy little township with a fascinating history. The cottage was impeccable with quality towels, appliances etc. combined with a really comfortable and cosy feel, perfect to relax in. Sharon was brilliant to communicate with and her generosity will not be forgotten. Experiences like this remind me why I love staying in Airbnbs. Can’t wait to get back here.”
Stay in part of our farmhouse on our working farm 1 .5 miles from the picturesque village of Lerryn. You will be able to have a proper country cooking experience with the aga cooker. Ideal for a couple or small family, although there is no WiFi we do have very good 4G signal. Great for families or friends for those getting married at nearby Tredudwell Manor . Ideal for exploring the nearby coast path and beaches of Lansallos , Lantivet , Lantic Bay and Palace Cove .
“The cottage is wonderful. Unfortunately we didn't chose the weather very well, the wind and rain were howling outside but my favourite time was sat down around the lovely warm aga in the kitchen with family. This place exceeded my expectations and perfectly suited our needs. Alison was extremely accommodating with our unexpected late check in, she was very responsive to messages which was extremely helpful when we got a bit lost on the way down. We really appreciated all the little extra touches Alison has done to make our stay easier and the house was immaculate. Highly recommended to all.”
This delightful, airy cabin, is the perfect place to relax. Located in the hamlet of Milltown, near Lostwithiel, you are a short walk away from beautiful woodland and the picturesque Fowey River and ten minutes, by car, from the beach.
“Lovely little cabin, great location, peaceful and secluded. Good location for the eden project, beach, estuary... Lots of books and games for relaxing evenings. The heater could do with updating as it doesn't quite manage with cold winter nights, but this is the only minor criticism of a really nice, great value cabin, we'll definitely book again.”
