Cozy cabin with SAUNA (bathhouse) 6 km north of Lyngseidet city center. The cabin is a total of 49 sqm and is suitable for 3-4 adults or a small family. The cabin contains: living room, toilet/shower, kitchen and 3 bedrooms. Storage room: inside the storage room there is a washing machine - Large porch with barbecue facilities overlooking Lyngenfjorden. (wood or charcoal is not included in the price) - The cabin should be left in order and tidy. - Used bed linen and towels MUST be removed and placed in the laundry basket.

The area has fantastic views of the Lyng Alps, with opportunities to see the northern lights in winter and the midnight sun in summer. There are good hiking opportunities in the immediate area. Popular mountains for randonees. From the property you can go directly up to Storhaugen. Sorbmegáisá is also nearby. Short distance to other mountains. Wood fired Sauna and grill hut. Bicycles, snowshoes. Beds are fully made.

Its only fifteen minuts by car to Skjervøy where you can go on a whale- and orcas safari. Big mountain for hiking and skiing around. Driveable to the front door. Likevel er det et unikt landskap slik at man også finner terreng for lettere skiturer. Om sommeren er uendelige turer å velge i, både til fots, til sykkel eller med båt. Hytta har: 4 soverom (8 soveplasser) Loftstue med sovesofa 1 bad med sauna Jacuzzi kan leies mot ekstra gebyr.

Gamtunet - idyllic cabin - spectacular location

Gamtunet is a charming old log house with a top modern architectural extension including all commodities. The view is spectacular encompassing the Lyngen landscape from the view to the Ulsfjord to the alpine peaks of Trollvasstind, Sofiatind and the Jiehkkevárri massif. We still have lots of snow in the mountains so it looks like skiing will be good all through May at least.
