There is a car road all the way up to the cabin throughout the year, and good parking. This is a perfect starting point for trips in Jotunheimen and the surrounding mountain areas. In winter, there is a cross country trail just behind the cabin, and you can go on an alpine ski just outside the cabin door and run to the ski resort. The cabin is beautifully located also for hunting, fishing and total relaxation.

New cabin, completed in Sept 2023, is rented out. Lemonsjøen is called the gateway to Jotunheimen. Here there are opportunities for those who like mountains and nature. Cross-country ski trails are just outside the door, and a short drive to the alpine slope. Quiet and peaceful area, with lots of wildlife right outside the cabin wall.
