The Eco Dairy is located within the picturesque valley of Theresa Creek in northern NSW. It is the perfect space for those wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of modern life and reconnect with the simple things in life by spending some time in nature. Enjoy breakfast on the front verandah while listening to the local birdsong. The Eco Dairy is a simple retreat yet has all the comforts of home. If you need a place to recharge the batteries then the Eco Dairy is the place for you! Guests will have access to clean country air, birdsong in the early morning, dramatic sunsets and rainwater (heated) showers. In winter you can sit by the fireplace and enjoy a red wine and read a good book. Our property borders the Cambridge Plateau which is World Heritage Listed rainforest. Make sure you take the time to do one of the walks - from the lookout you'll enjoy breathtaking views towards the east coast of northern NSW, capturing Mt Warning on a clear day. We understand that many people that come to stay at the farm are looking for a place to relax and chill out. We respect your space, however if you need anything we are located only a 400m walk away. We love living in Theresa Creek. We grow most of our own food and try to live in the most sustainable way possible. Our neighbours are all farmers, and we help each other when in need. We are all very down to earth folk and enjoy living in this part of the world which we call 'home'. I think most guests will love it here at Theresa Creek - as most people that come to stay never enjoy leaving! There is no public transport at Theresa Creek. Having a car will allow you freedom to explore the surrounding area, however if you are flying or arriving by train and do not wish to hire a car we are able to collect you from the airport /station at an extra cost. Nearest airport: Lismore (1hr) Byron/Ballina (1 hr 20minutes) Grafton (1hr 20 minutes) Goldcoast (2hrs) Brisbane (3hrs) Nearest train station: Casino (35 minutes)

A Simpler Place in Time

Restored 90 year old farm building separate from house overlooking the McPherson Ranges and Mount Barney on a 17 acre farm block with animals. Great place to stay if you are walking Mt Barney, Mt May or Mt Maroon - 40 mins drive north. The cottage can accommodate 3 people using a queen bed and a trundle bed (extra $15/night). The cottage runs on solar power (off the grid); gas cooktop; gas hot water; septic toilet; tank water and wood heater. Dean's shed is overflowing with stories and harness.
