We enjoyed the time in Kjell's house in the yard very much and immediately felt at home. It was very cozy - especially in the evening with all the lights in the windows. Everything we needed was there. The location was great for exploring the city during the day or walking on the Lidan or by the lake. At night it was quiet and so it made you sleep well. Kjell was easily accessible throughout. We'll be happy to come back when we're back in Lidköping.

This is a little house that is really worth a stay! Great and fresh accommodation. It feels like the host couple really thought about when they decorated the cabin with everything you might need. It is quick to get into Lidköping by car. We got quick answers to our questions both before and during the stay. Plus flexible check-in and check-out as no one lived there right before or after us. We'd love to go back! 😊

A great place and great home with everything you might need! So quiet and peaceful, and with fantastic terrace to enjoy the days and evenings. Deer wandered the fields around, and so pleasant with the visit of the kind dog in the neighboring house on the garden with its soft fur. Welcoming host who was pleasant to communicate with. I brought a bike, and nice scenery to bike in, e.g. out to Lake Vänern. Highly recommended!

If we could give more stars we would! We had a lovely time at Christina and Karin’s Airbnb. It’s a small cosy cottage with a bed, a table and chairs and the things you need to have a meal. You can’t really cook, but there is a microwave. In a separate cottage there is a nice clean bathroom and a fridge and freezer you can use. Christina and Karin gave us a warm welcome and offered us the option to buy breakfast and dinner, made by Christina who has been working as a cook. We chose the breakfast and would definitely recommend doing that! Because it was raining we could have breakfast in their veranda. It was lovely to sit there, with a view of the lake, a heat lamp and yummy breakfast. Even their sweet little dog came to sit with us (they keep her inside if you wouldn’t like that). We had some lovely conversations with them and really felt so welcome. If we’re ever in the area again we’ll definitely come by again! Thank you so much Christina and Karin!

Beautiful located house right down to the lake. We enjoyed the great view and 100% relaxed. Beautiful surroundings that invited walks and walks in the water. We enjoyed swimming every day, and we also enjoyed the sunshine in lovely nooks on the terraces. We'll definitely be back.

A fantastic place to stay. Fully equipped. Clear communication about getting in and staying. We immediately felt welcome and the apartment fit us exactly. In the middle of the market square and yet reasonably quiet (except for Saturday night). In short, recommended for anyone who wants to visit Lidköping (and surroundings). You do have to keep the decor a bit, but that was no problem for us. Anne, super thank you for letting us stay with you.

Sunset you don't want to miss

Fredrik's home was a joy! The expansive view across Lake Vänern included bird life, small boats and magnificent sunsets. We felt right at home - the kitchen was well equipped, the living area was cozy and the bedrooms were comfortable. Outdoors, we enjoyed it all - the dock and small row boat, the sauna and hot tub. Fredrik's home was private, impeccably clean, uncluttered and filled with natural light. We also discovered many tranquil, easy trails in the surrounding area that took us to other points along the lake. Some of the trails were even within walking distance of Fredrik's home. Groceries, local restaurants and a few cafés were only 15-30 minutes away by car. Coming from Annapolis, Maryland in the USA, some of the hikers we met on the trails asked why were in this part of Sweden. Our answer was easy - it's a magical area and we loved staying in Fredrik's place!

Perfect for a family with (small) children because of the garden and no traffic. Large rooms in a Swedish vintage style. Fully equiped spacious kitchen. Skara Sommaland, city of Lidköping and Låcko castle within half an hour drive. Go-Karts in Lidköping is also recommendable.

Charming Cottage on Kinnekulle

Sofia was very friendly. The house is beautifully furnished and had most things we needed. The Garden is really nice and suited for guests with dogs, although you might want to Check for holes in the fence if your dog loves finding them :) Beautiful surrounding area. The street next to the house is audible but not used too much.

The stay was very pleasant. We experienced waiting and welcome. The apartment was clean and neat and easy to orientate. A written orientation was clear and provided all necessary information that we needed. The apartment is located in a peaceful residential area with walking distance to the city center and grocery store. We can give the wet best recommendation.

This is a great place to stay for those of us who like to be out all day on excursions and hikes. A nice place to start the day and finish it. We really like the environment in the area with its stone coops, forests and meadows. We would love to come again!

The two of us and our dog spent two weeks with Peter and enjoyed it very much! Peter and his wife Marie are both very hospitable and gave us a very nice time. The tiny house is super cozy, has everything you need and we immediately felt very comfortable and at home. It was very clean and well equipped. We didn't miss anything. We were able to make good use of the many seating options on the terrace and in the garden, as well as the available grill, in the best sunny weather. Peter gave us many tips for paths and places to visit. We were hiking a lot and on the water. The peninsula is beautiful and offers many hiking trails. Perfect with a dog. It was a great vacation! Highly recommended 👍
