Holiday rentals in Lightwater

Great apartment in Notting Hill, easy stroll down to Portobello Market with lost of great restaurants choices, great little parks a block down for our kid to play in which was a treat! Easy for Ubers, or bus stops etc …

Vania’s flat was very nice! We cooked quite a few meals in the kitchen and it had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable as was the furniture in the living room area. We also liked having a washing machine! The public transportation into London is very easy! We’d hop on the 140 right outside the door, take it two stops to the tube station and the tube went right to pretty much whatever stop you needed! The neighborhood is lively. We would get back kind of late and still markets and restaurants were open and people were out and about and it was Sunday/Monday. I recommend Praba and The White Horse - such good food at both places and easy to walk to. I recommend Vania’s place! I hope to be back in London again and would stay for sure.

Andre gave very clear instructions about the property. It was in a good location, being within a few yards of a nice play park for our daughter. It was about a half hour walk into Windsor for us with a four year old. Handy to have a small Waitrose and a Tesco so close. The road the house is on is a narrow lane that is not a through road and so parking (with a larger vehicle) to unload was not feasible, especially given that there were people trying to drive up and down the road. I would recommend unloading elsewhere for ease. There is parking on the surrounding streets and we felt the car was safe.

We had a great 4 night stay with our 2 kids, 10 and 6! It was a perfect location as a jumping off point, and we took various lines on the tube and multiple different buses all from a 5 or so minute walk from the apt. We also went to Regents Park (my favorite park in London) multiple times. And of course the convenience of a pub/restaurant right downstairs, where everyone was super accommodating, couldn’t be beat! We would definitely stay here again next time we come to London for a visit.

Fantastic find been before and will book again

Our stay at this 2-bedroom Airbnb in London was absolutely perfect! The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable family stay. The bedrooms were cozy and quiet, and the living area was a great place to relax after long days of sightseeing. The location was fantastic—close to shops and restaurants, but tucked away enough to feel peaceful. Our host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful. We felt right at home and would absolutely stay here again on our next trip to London. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Catherine's place, which is conveniently located and in a very nice area. It is decorated with taste and you have a feeling of being at home. The bedroom is very comfortable, the living room, where there is the sofa bed, is spaciuos and enjoys natural light due to the two big windows. However, it would benefit from blinders if you have to sleep there. We were four and the two of us that slept on the sofa were comfortable enough, but found the pillows too soft and were a bit disturbed by the natural light filtering from the windows, even when the curtains were pulled. The sofa bed was comfortable enough thanks to the toppler added on top of the mattress. However, I believe that both the mattres and the sofa need a good washing, and I am sure that Catherine will take care of that. The host is very prompt to answer your questions and to meet your requests. On the whole we had a great stay and would recommend the place. Thank you Catherine for everything
