The House of Prayer

Welcome to our guest house where you can relax with the whole family in this peaceful accommodation. Four kilometres from the authentic wooden town of Nora in beautiful Bergslagen is the House of Prayer, built in 1901 and originally a mission house. Now a pleasant home with a large combined kitchen and living room where the church hall was previously located, as well as two spacious bedrooms and a bathroom. On a cold day, the fireplace in the middle room provides warmth. The garden plot is available for socialising and play. A few hundred metres away there is a swimming area.

Small surrounding farm garden shared with the host family. Several different seating areas can be found in the garden. Sheets, towels and final cleaning are included in the price. The log cabin is located in the countryside in the village of Löa. The cabin has no electricity or running water, so you cook in the wood stove, fetch water in the pump and use the outhouse, just like it was in the past. If it is too cold to swim in the lake, there is a shower to borrow in another building. Refrigerator to store food in is available. On the farm, you can help feed calves, sheep and chickens and pick eggs for breakfast. Moose and beaver safari with the cottage owner as a guide can be booked. Boat, kayak and raft available to rent.

Welcome to Siggeboda Farm by Lake Usken in the heart of Bergslagen! Here you will live in our cozy two-story farmhouse overlooking the lake and grazing horses. Our private swimming area with jetty, rowboat and canoe is at your disposal during the summer months. The house is fully equipped and if anything is missing, we'll fix it. We have bikes for rent if you want to pedal to Nora Anna's café or exercise around the lake. Uskavi is a few hundred meters away with a café, lunch restaurant and mini golf, etc.

Welcome to our cottage for 5 people. Deck overlooking Lake Usken. You will get part of the farm's beach with your own jetty with boat and furnished terrace. The cottage is on our farm with your own secluded garden Uskavi camping a few hundred metres away with café, lunch restaurant and mini golf. Ture the cat lives in the yard, and there are horses in the meadows around. Please leave the cabin in the same condition as when you arrived.

About 3 mil north is Klotens fishing area. Proximity to Bergslagsleden. Bathing areas are within the immediate area. The distance to Stockholm is about 18 mil and to Örebro about 4.5 mil. There is a train station in Lindesberg.
