Our home is in a pleasant bushy setting on a hill with a lovely view over the historic town of Lithgow. It is close to all services, shops and transport. Centrally located to other major popular sites in the area such as Katoomba - only 30minutes away in one direction and Bathurst another 35 mins in another. Nearby are also: The Jenolan Caves, Lake Lyell, Lake Wallace, Mt Piper Power Station and lots of other places to explore and enjoy during a visit to the area.

Just 15 minutes from Blackheath, (and only accessible from Blackheath) the cottage is totally self contained, with a wood stove and BBQ facilities. A unique rural escape for nature lovers.

Hereford House is a tastefully renovated self-contained three bedroom "Heritage Listed" cottage. Initially it was a semi-detached workers cottage built in the 1870's as accommodation for the employees of the Hartley Kerosene Oil & Paraffine Co.Ltd which was established in Hartley Vale on July 31st 1865.
