This is a newly constructed cabin done to luxury standards and is located on our farm down a private road, situated at the northern end of Flathead Lake. The views are spectacular as you can enjoy 360 degree views of the valley, Flathead Lake, Glacier Park, The Swan Mountains, Blacktail Mountain and the big skies and stars of Montana. The only land in between our farm and the lake is a waterfowl preserve. Plenty of wildlife on the property and it is a wonderful spot to enjoy Flathead Valley.

Stoney Lonesome Retreat

Welcome to Stoney Lonesome Retreat. Why Stoney Lonesome? Not entirely sure, you can blame it on my great grandfather, old Fredrick Richard August Christian Uhde. He named the property back in 1972 and the name has stuck!!! My parents Elward and Susan purchased our property in the summer of 1969 for $500 and we have been here ever since. My brother and I were raised here and now my wife Gretchen and I are so proud to be raising our son Simon here. The third generation on this land.

Cross country skiing from cabin, many quiet lakes in the area, Murray Lake perfect for paddleboards. With downtown Whitefish so busy, you will enjoy the tranquility. You’ll treasure this little barn-dominium. Enjoy the patio overlooking the entrance to Glacier National Park. You will have plenty of outdoor options. Big Mountain in Whitefish is just north and Flathead Lake is just south with a dozen lakes and hikes in between. We are just a short drive to two ski resorts and 45 minutes to the west entrance of Glacier National Park. Fresh eggs provided upon request, couch hid-abed available and all shopping needs are 5 miles into town!

Upper - Cozy and Quiet Studio

This is a small studio with a very comfy remote controlled adjustable (head and feet) queen size bed, kitchen, and bathroom. Perfect for two. But we can make an exception and add a cot for an extra person or you may bring your own infant bed. This will make it a little tight but it’s doable. The kitchen has a microwave, hot plate and electric fry pan for cooking and a nice refrigerator.

The Stillwater at Stoner Creek Cabins

Locally owned and operated, the Stillwater at Stoner Creek Cabins is one of eight identical modern tiny homes located on ten wooded acres just beyond a residential neighborhood. We offer year-round comfort in a wooded setting. The Stillwater is located on the hillside of the property with shared views into our forest from the living area and patio.
