It is perfect for couples and families with children. There is opportunity for activities. Quiet walks and hiking. The local å Storá is everyone's playground. Terna Cottage is one of the Múlafossur Cottages located by the world-renown waterfall in the village Gásadalur on the Faroe Islands. It is only a 10-20min drive from the only airport on the islands, shops and cafes as well as some of the most astounding Faroese sceneries such as Drangarnir, Tindhólmur and the lake Sørvágsvatn/Leitisvatn.

You can go to "Enniberg" The location is amazing and has one of the most beautiful views of the Faroe Islands. At Viðareiði, there is a fairly large playground for children and a soccer field. There is no store in Viðareiði.
