Our handcrafted shepherds hut is set in its own idyllic secluded spot along the Mawddach estuary opposite the Cader Idris mountain range offering total peace and tranquillity. It has an open plan living space with a lovely cosy double bed a well equipped kitchen, table and chairs plus an en suite shower room. Outside there is a sitting area with a fire-pit/BBQ and steps which lead down to your own path onto the estuary foreshore from where you are welcome to explore our many acres of land.

The changing tides offer opportunities for sea swimming, fishing, crabbing and paddle boarding to name a few and the mountains are just a stone’s throw away. With 7 bedrooms, 3 Living rooms, dining room, dining-kitchen and 4 bathrooms there is space for everyone to relax and enjoy the house.O

Hidden deep within the Dyfi Forest on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park is our unique, off grid cabin. With amazing views over the valley, you can just sit back and enjoy the natural world around you. If mountain biking is your thing, we are right on the Climachx Mountain Bike Trails and a stones throw from Dyfi Bike Park. There's lush river swimming spots, lakes, waterfalls and mountains to explore. Our nearest beach is Aberdyfi, just 30mins away. 16mins drive to the epic Cadair Idris!

Note: We are undertaking major construction work on the property NEXT to the Shepherd's Hut. Builders do NOT work weekends. However, noise levels may be higher during weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Maximum of two well behaved dogs welcome. 2 onsite private parking spaces which is a rarity in Barmouth near the harbour. The Town house is fully equipped and modern. Features include Wi-fi , central heating, towels provided, two 50” smart tv’s. A separate lounge and dining area that seats 6 in comfort. The combination of house, garden, & parking we offer is unique.

Magic Mountain Cottage: family- & dog-friendly

There is nowhere quite as magical as this: an historic, creaky cottage, at the end of a farmers track below Cader Idris. It's a back-in-time experience, with wooden beams and antique furniture, owned by the same family for over 60 years. Please read all the details carefully before you book. It’s a 300 year old cottage on the side of a mountain, space, fresh air and tranquillity. It's comfortable but nothing fancy. No TV or wifi, but a woodburner, books and massive views behind the cottage.

The Coastal Path Caravan

My place is close to the Coastal Path with great views of Cardigan Bay, with beaches close by and family-friendly activities in the local villages and towns. The caravan is set on our beautiful mid Wales coastline with amazing views near to Welsh ports - Aberdyfi, Tywyn, Fairbourne and Barmouth and the stunning Mawddach estuary. Red Kites to be seen quite regularly. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids).
