Earls Court is two-faced—while East Earls Court is characterised by multi-million dollar Georgian homes, the neighborhood’s west side is comprised of scrappier restaurants and performance spaces. Although well-manicured garden squares and gay and student-friendly pubs contribute to Earls Court’s appeal, its Art Deco exhibition center’s massive trade shows, national fairs, and performances serve as the neighborhood’s main attraction. See the centre soon—it’s slated to be repurposed by 2020.See places to stay Save this neighbourhood

French photographer Antoine Breant has now lived in London for the past two years. This project for Airbnb gave him a chance to explore new spaces within London, get acquainted with the British way of life, and encounter a new dimension of the city.
Sophie Carr is a London-based freelance travel photographer who specialises in landscapes and cities. Her love of travel has taken her to many far-flung parts of the world, but home will always be London. She loved shooting her home city for Airbnb, and hopes her photos will encourage visitors to come to her local neighbourhoods.
