Footscray is a multicultural hub that is only a 30 min walk away. Here you will find a lot of great Vietnamese restaurants/cafes as well as a variety of African eateries and shops. Recently a lot of small funky bars have also popped up along the main road. This neighbourhood can be a bit grungy in patches, so it is worth keeping your wits about you.
